I have been coming here for years for overnight stays before early morning flights. Not much is the same. Gone are the early morning bag breakfasts when departing early in the morning before the normal breakfast is served, but we can all live with that. But to pay $30.00 to park your car for in the lot for the night is insane! Pay for your room and then you pay 30.00 more to park in the parking lot. I'm not sure if you must pay that price for each night you stay or if it's for your entire stay, I only stayed one night. Some beds need to be replaced, at least the one in my room did. I started the first half of the night in one bed and it was so bad that I was extremely grateful I could switch to the other bed in search of the lesser of the two evils.The showerheads, well I hope yours isn't falling apart. As in the past, the staff was very friendly, but the hotel, it just felt like someone has came in and leased this hotel without any background in hospitality, hoping to make a quick buck. I think the parking lot is leased too, so perhaps that's reason for the parking fee. I was shocked and saddened by all of it. I also missed the little details we all enjoyed in the past that weren't expensive to do for the guests, many little things. After all these years I must now rethink my nights stay before my early morning flights. I have never left a poor review for anything, EVER, and I'm sorry. I just feel you need to know because I really did love this place once....

As instructed, called hotel requesting shuttle pick up and first shuttle bus stop to pick up one person and drove off. I had to call again and waited for another shuttle bus for pick up. Shuttle driver wasn’t friendly and didn’t seem happy but we made it to the hotel and check in was easy and quick.

Nice enough. Lobby & elevator showing signs of wear. Room nicely updated, however. Nice breakfast selections. Pretty pricey for the condition, but welcome to Boston.
