The room couldn’t be cooled below 19C (65F) and with the thick duvet sleep was difficult as I need a cooler night’s sleep. The recommended fix to crack the window shut off the fan so room was even warmer then. I probably should have lobbied for thinner blankets, if they have them.
I like to conserve water, so the toilet that occasionally kept flushing at full speed until I noticed and the shower controls that were difficult to shut off completely weren’t ideal.
The fridge didn’t cool until unbolted by maintenance and adjusted.
All in all a nice room in need of a bit of attention. I do realize I am an outlier with the colder request so this may affect few but may be useful to someone in the future.
The staff were excellent. Location brilliant, room was immaculate. All of which has nothing to do with Expedia who were appalling in regards to our booking. Completely unhelpful, looking for extra money when we had mistakenly put in the wrong date. (Thank you Maldron for sorting ) A disgrace will never use Expedia again.
