Hotel didn't look much from the outside but was lovely inside, room big enough for couple, had good view from window, aircon good, bed comfy, room clean, breakfast good. Only complaint would be that both the cups in our room were chipped around the top which I wouldn't expect for a hotel that is supposed to be 4 star.

Great place to stay

Bright fresh modern hotel. Options for food are good and some great value deals on food. Rooms are spacious but only provide very limited hanging and no real shelf space. Lighting in the rooms are quite dim apart from the bedside reading lights. Hairdryer is tired and worn and very well used and I requested a replacement which was brought up swiftly. Room service was great and speedy too. The only disappointment was the housekeeping on our 3rd day, cups not cleaned, bins not emptied, coffee machine pods that had been used were placed on top of the coffee machine as though they were new, and few other things- we did get clean towels. The reception again rectified for us. Reception and food and beverage staff were top notch!

Great location, close to the city centre and a short walk from the train station. The room was large considering the price was pretty reasonable. We found the room clean and towels were changed for our 2nd night. Victoria could not have possibly been nicer or more helpful for both our check-in and checkout. Highly recommended.

Excellent central location

This was our first visit here, we stayed for 2 nights and I've no doubt we will be back. Every staff member we met was warm, friendly, professional and extremely helpful. We upgraded our room to a Executive King & Single Room, the room itself was very clean, on a corner location and was massive with an amazing huge floor to ceiling window with city views, we took great delight in sitting having drinks at the table and chairs watching the world go by. We weren't disturbed by any street noise whatsoever. The bathrobes were so soft and fluffy, plenty towels, toiletries, teas, coffees, biscuits etc. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection. Enjoyed sitting in the courtyard, lovely space. Our only bugbear was the lack of storage space, especially in such a large room and, while I don't mind living out of a suitcase for a couple of nights some shelf / drawer storage would have been good.
