Room: bedside light not working. Heating/air conditioning has alert saying filter system needs cleaning. Given windows can’t be opened, and that it’s an airport transit hotel, these systems should be cleaned for both circulation on the rooms & to prevent infections from unhygienic filters. I also went to the sauna. The wooden seat is broken. The ladle to pour water onto rocks was broken. The bucket for the water was cracked and empty. Location: excellent Luggage storage after check out: available Airport transfer: free bus 100m away Disappointing: can’t sit on pool deck after check out while waiting to go to airport. Was recommended the park behind the hotel which (not Novotel fault) is a big cigarette ash tray

Bedside light not working, no one available to fix it. Complimentary breakfast offered when we asked for compensation. When paying over $300 per night expect things to be working. Asked for receipt, they were unable to print one, was advised that it would be emailed, still not received 4 days later. Room was quite small, no shower cap or other basic toiletries that you would expect when paying so much.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Great breakfast with all you would be looking for. Only upgrade I would like is USB-charging in the rooms so you don't need adapters if you are a traveller.

Great for a long stop over.

The welcome we received at check in was really friendly and helpful. The room was probably the cleanest I've ever stayed in and th bed was very comfortable. We got a taxi to and from the hotel with ease also and went for food nearby.

It was fine. There was not very much to do near the hotel. They received a poor score because i scheduled a shuttle to the airport (a service provided by the hotel) and it was booked for the incorrect time, despite the person scheduling it reading back the correct time. When I checked out, there were no more spaces available at the time I needed. I ended up having to call a taxi and pay 4 times more to get to the airport on time. The hotel did not offer any discounts and I specifically had to request they cancel the fee for the incorrect shuttle.

My wife and I stayed overnight between flying in from NZ and going up to the Sunshine Coast. A tidy, modern hotel – close-ish to the airport (not walking distance – but there is a free bus that runs from both International and Domestic airport that takes you almost to the door). I probably wouldn't choose to holiday here – just because of the location – the nearest train station into the CBD is a bus or uber ride away. So, the location relative to the CBD is not great, but is handy to airport without actually being at the airport – but the hotel for what we wanted was fine.
