The room was basic but functional. Downside is our room 501 looked out to the lift so you had to keep curtains shut all the time which made it gloomy. I had requested as a room at the front of the building as it was my daughter’s 40th birthday, but presume they had no front rooms available. We went to breakfast 1 day but there was no tables available. The waitress kindly let us use the table by kitchen door but had to sit same side, bit cramped. Didn’t enjoy selection of food, and found a bit dry. Didn’t bother on 2nd day

The staff was friendly and very helpful in all matters. We needed to do laundry and they helped us locate a laundromat within walking distance. They also made recommendations for dinning options that were easily accessible. We were very pleased with our stay overall

Nicely situated in old city. Trams and subway close by. Breakfast good. Staff friendly. Restaurants in square a little pricy but lots to choose from, so shop around and go off square for better options.

A functional and well located hotel. Breakfast is well stocked and lots of options. Provided well For gluten free and dairy free. It’s superbly located if you want a central area. No noise at night. If you want views or a kettle in your room (is a coffee machine) avoid.

I had a great stay at the Promenade City Hotel, in lovely Budapest. Hotel is centrally located on a key shopping street (Vací). If you are sensitive to noise however, some of the rooms are facing the hallway rather than the exterior, meaning that you hear people in the hallway in the morning.

Location.Location.Location. When choosing a hotel, its location has great weight. And in this case, the location outweighs everything. Right on Vaci Otse Street. Close to everything, which completely changes the tempo of the entire trip. Add to that a wonderful staff. Cozy and clean rooms. Good breakfast and we have a perfect hotel. We stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed the service and the hotel. We would love to come back....
