The restaurant menu was a bit limited. Road works outside the hotel area with broken and closed off sidewalks made getting to hotel entrance a nuisance and inconvenient. Not hotels fault just generally inconvenient,

Very nice stay, avoid paying for a “lake view” .

Facilities were clean and nearby street parking available while being close to city night life. One word of caution though, when booking a room that is listed as “facing the lake”, ask if you can’t actually *see* the lake. That was my one mistake. Although the room did indeed face “the direction” of the lake, what you see is actually all the buildings between the hotel and the lake, so exercise caution on the “upsell”.

Independence Day
