Our stay at Peppers was overall pretty good. The pool is amazing, the breakfast was great and the location was fantastic if you’re looking to just try out some great restaurants.
A couple of call outs - the staff are amazing. The room we were initially booked into smelly strongly of mould. The staff quickly moved into another room which was fantastic, it was newly refurbished and it was such a beautiful room, they did this straight away without hesitation and it was really great customer service. The staff at the front were also helpful with restaurant recommendations too.
One thing that was a little disappointing was the lack of in room dining options (no room service). While there is a restaurant at the front of the hotel, you have to order takeaway and collect it and it closes on a Sunday and Monday from 4pm which we found a little odd. There was no mini bar in the room, but while there was a nespresso machine and pods available, there was no cold water bottles in the fridge or even a bottle to fill with tap water. We had to keep going to the front reception area to fill drink bottles. While they were more than accommodating to do this, it was a little annnoying. Also, we noticed that our coffee cups and mugs weren’t being cleaned either. They were not being picked up on some of the days with the daily room service clean so we would just wash them ourselves but was something we noticed!
Overall it was a nice stay and we enjoyed ourselves.
