This was a real AVERAGE stay - the hotel is tired and needs a major renovation. I was shockede to see it was a 5 star and def the worst 5 star i have ever stayed in. The club which we paid extra for - ran out of hot food on the first night - and was replenished after about an hour. Room service trays litter the hall ways as do linen bags waiting for collection. We didn't have our room serviced until 5pm after i complained 3 times. My laundry wasn't done and my skirt came back marked ( i simply didn't have the energy to complain again) The location is amazing - but other than that it was very disappointing.

A beautiful hotel with a lovely swimming pool area. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are tastefully decorated. The beds are super comfortable and the duvets are 80% down and luxurious. I wish the swimming pool water was heated in winter as it was a bit cold.

Fabulous! rooms are large and light with amazing views (we stayed twice -- seaside and marina side), staff are wonderful, breakfast is amazing, peaceful and spacious with a really relaxed feel. Pool is perfect and surrounding gardens are lovely. Perfect location.

Great location

Had a four night stay here in May. Location couldn’t be better. Had a lovely view from our spacious room on the third floor overlooking the waterfront & marina. The bathroom was nice and felt newly refurbished. We found some areas of the hotel looked a little old and in need of an upgrade. We only had breakfast once and it was very good with plenty of choice. The hotel forms part of the Pier complex but sadly the shops didn’t open during our stay.

Best Place To Stay In Cairns

Located right at the Cairns Marina - this could not be better situated for all Cairns Excursions, especially those going to the Great Barrier Reef. Within walking distance of the night markets, the Aquarium, and the Eye (ferris wheel). Very clean, rooms are quite large. Loved our king-sized bed. Great pool. Nice variety of restaurants on the premises. Don't miss Mooz Gelati - around the corner.

Room was lovely, modern & clean. Service was terrific. Buffet breakfast was fabulous! We also loved the outdoor dining - kids had a great time running around the enclosed area while we enjoyed dinner. Only disappointment was the pool which is looking very tired. Shabby deck chairs were a bit worse for wear and it all just needs a big refresh.
