There were 2 of us staying in a room which had a double bed and a single bed. Only the double bed was made up. I was staying with my daughter and we hadn't planned on sharing a bed but this is what we ended up doing. We didn't request the other bed to be made up as we were going out around an hour after we checked in and we didn't want anybody in the room while we weren't there. So we ended up both sharing the double bed. I am surprised that the other bed was not made up, hopefully it was an oversight and this isnt the norm. If you book a room with 2 beds in both beds should be made up.

Perfect for a solo traveller!

Lovely staff, easy check in and check out. Very good location for easy trams towards the city centre and away to Media City. The room did what it needed to do and is perfect for a solo traveller, it's like a nicer version of university halls. Very quiet and has Tesco, McDonald's and Starbucks within a 5 minuet walk.

The hotel is good, great price if you book early, very good location, comfortable bed, hot shower, some of the rooms have good views, there is a payable parking at the hotel, you can use microwave if you need it, overall the hotel is good, not bad at all, it’s not my first time and I would stay again here

We had a good time! The room was just as last time. It was so very convenient as we attended the fa cup match at old Trafford!!

mouldy, unclean and drastically overpriced

one of the worst hotel experiences, i was assigned an accessible room as it was the last room available at check in, which was absolutely filthy and felt like a hospital room apart from it had never been cleaned. i asked to move rooms on the second night, the second room (non accessible) was much cleaner and more comfortable environment. i think it’s ridiculous that the accessibile rooms are treated so poorly in comparison to the rest of the rooms. the shower was so dirty and mouldy that i couldn’t bring myself to use it. The toilet flush was broken, and the shower curtain was also mouldy. (photos attached). i am familiar with the concept of an ibis budget, but there is nothing budget about spending £170 per night on a room that doesn’t have a usable clean shower. this room should have been £30 max and even at that price i’ve stayed at better hotels. i would always avoid this place in future!

Hotel is in an excellent location, in Salford Quays and close to amenities, easy connections into the city centre. The hotel was basic and poorly designed (had to use the toilet with the door open as they haven't allowed space for anyone with legs - definitely book elsewhere if you have mobility issues), and didn't provide handtowels. There was no tea, coffee or a kettle provided, this comes at an extra charge (more cheeky charges to top up the team and coffee too). For a one nighter, this hotel is absolutely fine, clean, staff are helpful, but if you want basic comfort I'd avoid.
