It was my and my wife's 20th year anniversary. We decided to stay at this hotel and I've booked her in for a spa treatment. It was a hour session including a massage and facial treatment. My wife cam out after 30min. She only received a massage. Day before check in I spoke to the Spa twice to make sure all is set up for he on this special occasion of ours. Not only I had confirmation of the one hour treatment with a price agreed on email when I got the and the price was different/more expensive and most of the session wasnt complete. When we went to the bar there was only one member of staff looking after the bar and restaurant guests the wait times were long to get a single drink queue of people was building up. We were going to have dinner at the restaurant but decided against it. The room was nice and clean but the tables in the garden were dirty, dusty and cob webs everywhere. Baring in mind that I have emailed the hotel and called advising that its our 20th anniversary therefore trying to make it as nice as possible we were let down by the mistakes in the Spa and due to the staff shortage we had long waits for everything.
