Great location, but not so great sleep!
The Salford Quays area is a nice place to stay, parking £10 for 24 hours is a bargain! Tram station is a few mins away.
The hotel is located right by the water and we given the option to have a room with a water view which was nice. The room itself was very compact but did t feel overly small. Bathroom was a good size, Dove toiletries are supplied, if you've forgotten anything there is a vast array on offer for free at reception - toothbrush, face clothes etc.
The room had the bonus of air con which was needed when we arrived. The bed seemed to be on the smaller side, there was also a sofa bed in the room (609). Didn't have the best night sleep, noise from the lift which is opposite the room door, but the room was very clean. kettle, tea/coffee etc, hairdryer and iron all in the room.
Breakfast was extremely busy, the staff worked tirelessy to keep the food topped up. But with it being so busy as soon as an item was replenished it was gone! So breakfast was eaten over several plates! But sadly didn't get a croissant as they were snapped up instally each time!
Would I stay there again?? Yes, but in a room with a bigger bed and not near the lift! Breakfast was good quality, staff lovely but stretched at breakfast but were always polite and helpful, check in staff were very helpful and Informative.
Location great for the shops, museums, old Trafford and access to the city centre.
