Little problems but nice stay overall

The hotel is new-ish and in very nice condition. I experienced several small niggles during my stay including an inoperable safe, spoiled toiletries and confusion about the need for housekeeping. Although it took too long to correct these issues, management did correct them in the end and we had a reasonably good stay. The hotel is within an easy few minutes drive of Stonehenge and the charming little town of Salisbury. The on-site restaurant is pretty good and there are fast food options nearby as well.

The stat was good. Although the hotel could do with some renovation as it was looking very dated. The sink in the bathroom was broken and the ac was very noisy.

Superb stay in great location.

Lovely stay at this hotel. Very easy and pleasant check in, staff very polite. Absolutely ideal location, close to railway station and Harry Potter shuttle bus stop. Our room was spotlessly clean, beds and pillows very comfortable. Superb breakfast with great chose. Close to railway line but the windows kept out the noise.

Perfect hotel for London trip

Excellent stay. Used as a base for Wembley concert and trip to London West End. Great location to get to everywhere we needed to go and Watford itself has plenty to do. Hotel was perfect for what we needed, staff were excellent and complementary breakfast was very good.

Holiday Inn Impressed!!!!

Wow!!! What else can I say?? This was me and my partner's first time in Watford, and we were super impressed. All the staff were amazing, welcoming, and friendly, but a big shout-out to Siead (sorry if I spelled your name wrong). This guy went above and beyond to help and make sure we were both happy with the service. The breakfast was amazing, with lots of different food to choose from, and a fry-up was the obvious choice. The room was just a standard room with working air conditioning, and it beat our expectations. Overall, we were extremely impressed and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, and we'd definitely return.

I had a fantastic stay at this Holiday Inn Express! The location of the hotel is really convenient as it’s located a (less than) 5 minute walk from Watford Junction station, and there were plenty of unique food options in/around the area. :) The bed was comfy and got a great night of sleep; was a little difficult to adjust the temp of the room but was all fine once I managed to figure that out. The staff in particular really enhanced my stay; they were all so friendly and accommodating and happy to help with absolutely anything I needed.

Came to Watford for the Harry Potter Studio Tour and this hotel was close to the train station and the free buses that take you to the Studios. It was a nice clean hotel with decent free breakfast.

Great budget hotel

We spent very little time in the hotel as we were visiting family nearby. Nice hotel inside - somewhat complicated to find with the sat nav which takes you to the back and a not so great area. Reception staff were lovely. Room was spacious and the beds were comfy. Breakfast was nice but would have liked some more pastry options and better fruit choices given the price we paid for a Saturday night as it was bit low on options but what was there was good. We were just travelling locally but feel this would be a good base for outside of London and you could travel in.
