Nice Hotel

The front desk staff were courteous, helpful, and friendly. Most of the housekeeping staff were, as well. The hotel itself was in good shape, for the most part. Laundry facilities are clean and new. Breakfast had scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, and breakfast potatoes, bagels, yogurt, but only sometimes had waffles or pancakes (no French toast, though this was advertised). We did not use the pool, although it seemed very popular with families. There was a very small potty area for dogs behind the hotel, but a nice stretch of grassy area along the street in front of the hotel.. Our only real negative experience with this hotel was the noise level. Although the windows kept out all the street noises, there was plenty of noise coming from INSIDE. All the rooms face the indoor courtyard, which is open to both restaurants and the pool area. There are no “quiet times” at night, so we heard every voice, every clinking glass, and every wheeled cart. Overall, a very nice hotel, though.

The breakfast for fantastic. Good variety of items and tasty. The parking lot spaces were fairly small so made it hard to park. Check in and check out was easy and fast. Be aware that the pool area was only open from 9-9 as it was not a separate area. Over all world likely stay there again.

For a property that was close to McMahon Stadium, this hotel really went beyond what I expected for a Best Western hotel! For the first hotel that I have ever booked, the staff was so friendly and helpful in helping me know what I need to do and where I need to go, I loved the outlay of my room & the view I got of downtown, & the breakfast was fascinating. Saying that, there were some problems i had at the hotel that could be improved on. For starters, one of the bed sheets was not fully cleaned which was a cause of concern for my plus one in which it needed to be addressed. But the biggest problem i had was the hotel bar. Though it is very atmospheric with the hotel layout, the service was absolutely terrible to a point where the both times I was there, I was waiting 10 mins or more just to get some service to order drinks & food. There was even one time where I ordered a cocktail that was sitting on the bar for 10 or so minutes yet no one delivered it me until later. This alone can be a serious safety concern for me, as a customer, if the bar wasn't packed. Obviously this could be because of staffing but even so, there should definitely be some work done on the bar with one handling the drinks, one running the food, and one managing the whole thing (at least). But regardless, the rest of the hotel was great & I would definitely come back to it again if I need to hotel stay for some workshops or even a Stampeders game :)

An employee named Leo checked us in and welcomed us - his service was beyond excellent. We stayed at this location to be close to Foothills Hospital to see a relative. We normally stay in another hotel when in Calgary, however, the service we received will ensure that we w ill be back!

Very quiet for a great sleep. Clean room and linen. The staff (front desk) are very friendly and helpful. The brunch was also great and lots to choose from. The only "BEEF" was the access to the property. We were not familiar with the area, but would stay again whenever we return to Calgary. Thank you. We had an enjoyable stay.
