A lot of our group got very ill at this resort and it was a family trip . I am concerned with the food handling and that includes that we all avoided produce and washed our teeth with bottled water from the onset.

Did not get the room that I reserved , wasn’t able to check in, because I was told reservation was only for one person instead of 8. I went 5 times to the desk and speaking with 3 different managers, Nothing was done on their part. Worst manager there was Nataly Woo, super rude and would not recommend. Resort was fully booked and they weren’t able to Accommodate a single room since we had a late flight. They offered to let us keep our bracelets after almost an hour of negotiating, until 6pm instead of 2pm

The rooms here were fantastic. The staff was very attentive and very friendly. The food was great in the buffet and excellent in the à la carts. The beach was great. The pools were great. Everything was fantastic for me my wife and the kids. We really enjoyed our time here.

They were very dishonest about the kids club. They made it sound like you could leave them for how and have some time to yourself here and there,which was my plan, but the baby patadise-upto 3 years old is only open 1 hr 45 min a day. Also the 4-12 year olds have the massive water park thing but only 1-2 activities a day, the area is massive with 2 pools and11 slides and looks where they wouldn't be seen from afar. Somehow they think it's safe for to here to only be 2 staff on that situation. I tried to ask if they'd make an exception and let my daughter barely 4 to just use the baby p as radise one because she's loved the trips and I'd feel that she's safe and despite talking to 4 people and mentioning it's a safety issue, they wouldn't budge. Really bad customer service. Also, they literally don't answer the phone calls from the rooms-they admitted this. Long line ups at reception any time of day.

The pools were good but not heated so my little kids didn't want to go in. They are supposed to refill the mini bar each night and they did not do that do we were always having to go downstairs to the bar to get water. Furthermore...the food was horrendous. The hotel's location was excellent, which was definitely a highlight of our stay. The pools were enjoyable for our family, and there were decent activities available that kept everyone entertained. However, there were some notable disappointments. The buffet food quality was below expectations, with the same limited options served at both lunch and dinner, which got repetitive quickly. The towel service at the pool was frustratingly slow - we often waited up to 30 minutes just to get towels, which really detracted from our relaxation time.

This was our 3rd time visiting as a family and likely the last. The resort's grounds have improved over the years. The staff was great, especially Jesus, the Bellhop (great to see him again), and Nieve in the Palapas, who was always so helpful and accommodating. With that said, the food quality has gotten worse over time (it was never great), and the beach was not kept as clean as in prior visits. We witnessed over and over people “reserving” lounge chairs at the pool and on the beach (against the club rules), and in some cases, on the beach, there were groups who had reserved chairs in the sun and the shade, bouncing back and forth, leaving them empty half the time. Also, the female “lifeguard” on the beach was seen on her phone for extended periods, not even looking at the water. The evening entertainment or shows were low-budget and slightly cringeworthy.

Overall everything was so good the fisherman restaurant and the employees were very nice and friendly. The kids paradise water should be warm the pool water was so cold and employees should know English better it was really hard to communicate.

We (2 Canadian families with kids) just concluded a 3 day vacation at the resort. Maintaining a resort with 100s of visitors every day is no joke and the team did a great job. The premises were always clean, including the pool water. Food is always available, either in the form of snacks or buffet meals but as mentioned in reviews, it tasted just okay. It was bland and flavorless and the kids didn't eat much despite of numerous options but it was prepared with pretty good hygiene standards. Food is the first thing that go wrong in trips, especially at places where it is prepared in mass but none of our families got sick, not even a bit. A slight allergic reaction or stale/rotten food would have ruined our vacation but it didn't. Bars at located at prime locations. There are always some or the other activities to explore. On the pool, they hosted a pool volleyball with random members from different countries and it was super fun. The beach is just steps away. Game zones, kids zones are there for exploration. We had a MJ show on Friday and the host was an absolute spitting image of MJ..including the voice. Overall, pretty good resort for families. Food and the elevator availability could be improved. We will visit again if food reviews improve.

Stayed at the resort for a week, Overall was a good experience for what we wanted at the time Pros: -Fantastic location, right by the beach -Baby/Toddler Facilities-Great activities for our kids -A La Cartes: Tasty Food -Adult Only pool, fun once we dropped the kids off for an hour at the baby center. -Fun activities for the kids daily. -Budget Friendly Trip Cons: -Long lineups for Buffets, have to time going down when it's not busy -Food poisoning-Everyone in the family got sick vomiting and diarrhea for about a day and a half on the trip. noticing other families complaining about the same issue -Bad Reservation system for restaurants-It's online only first come first serve at 8:00am in the morning. you have to be on the system registering for the restaurant that day since 5 minutes after it opens all restaurants are booked. -French restaurant is adult only, at a resort selling itself with kids in mind seams silly that parents of young ones can't experience this restaurant.

The restaurant reservation system is awful. There's a limited time to make reservations 8am-2pm, but I was told that because of the number of guests making reservations you can't get the QR code to work. There's no other way to complete your reservation. Otherwise the hotel was beautiful and it was great being on the ocean side.
