This was our first visit to Mexico and the first time staying at an Excellence Resort, we were not disappointed! The hotel is gorgeous and clean, has plenty of pools and bars, and has amazing food. More importantly, the people running the resort, from the concierge to the groundskeepers, were welcoming and very friendly. They made us feel right at home. We went on a snorkeling boat ride to the Isle of Mujeres that in itself was wonderful. Still, I was impressed with the organization from our hotel booking it the day before to the private transportation taking us to the marina. While arriving they already had us booked in. Everything went very smoothly. We will definitely be looking at the Excellence Resorts for next year! I highly recommend this hotel!

The entire staff was so friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent for an all inclusive. Great entertainment every evening. The grounds, hotel room, pool were immaculate. People cleaning all day, every day. We compared it to the cleanliness of Disneyland. IFKYK!

DONT DO IT. booked for my 22nd birthday and was beyond disappointed. food is bland and disgusting. rooms smell of moth balls, drainage sucks, my shower shelf literally broke off the wall in the middle of the night with nothing on it. you’d think there’d be more beach chairs as you are ON THE BEACH at a BEACH FRONT RESORT but no. majority of the restaurants aren’t even open until 6pm so you only have like 2 lunch spot options which both suck. bars close at 5pm. coconuts are only available at 1 bar/“juice stand” and you’ll have to wait a while. literally everything is watered down here, cafe sandwiches are sorry, smoothies are made from concentrates not much real fruit. skimpy, sad, and overrated. not too sure how this is a 5 star hotel but as of april 2025 i strongly advise if you are seeking a quality vacation, this is definitely not the place!

The vacation was wonderful, the staff worked very well, the food was excellent - especially my favorites for lunch - Oregano restaurant and dinner -French restaurant and breakfasts are wonderful,a large selection for everyone, In the evenings there is a great show program and every day is different . Only two big minuses, it requires room updates and not enough seats with loungers on the beach!

There about 10 people that slip during our stay and nothing was addressed. Also not enough chairs for the guests we had to sit on regular chairs also when we got a chairs we went for 45 minutes and you have your police chairs taking away our chairs it was really frustrating. You ask for a martini and it’s serve in a regular glasses because martini glasses not available that is totally unacceptable the staff do there best
