We are beyond impressed and incredibly grateful for the amazing experience at Riu! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Everyone here is so helpful, friendly, and welcoming—it truly made a difference. The food was outstanding, with an endless variety. From delicious cappuccinos to refreshing margaritas, everything was top-notch. Honestly, with so many amazing options, it feels like you could eat forever! A few minor things to note—the water in the room has a slight aftertaste, and only Pepsi is available instead of Coke. Also, the elevator buttons would be easier to see if labeled in white instead of red. Some guests struggled to see them and accidentally pressed all the buttons, so we stopped on every floor! One of the highlights of our trip was an excursion to swim with dolphins—an absolutely incredible, once-in-a-lifetime experience and surprisingly affordable. This hotel is simply exceptional. It’s one of the best places I’ve ever stayed, and I’ll definitely be coming back with my family. Thank you, Riu, for a truly memorable experience!

Really enjoyed the pool areas, cabana's, the restaurants especially Kabuki, Tamales, Los Olas, and Krystal. Very clean place to visit, floors, elevators, chairs, meticulously cleaned each and every day by staff. My wife and I will definitely recommend RIU PALACE PENINSULA to our friends and family. The property needs major interior improvements. Also i noticed they give double bed rooms when u specifically ask for king. Spoke with 2 other people who had the same complaint. We had to wait 2 days for a room with king bed after we got there. Otherwise great shows, food, location, view!!

No ventilation in their restrooms; smells awful if someone before you did number 2. Also, basic stuff like providing tooth paste and tooth brush would be nice. Need to increase food area space in the morning, waited 20 mins for an omelette. Other than that it’s not a bad hotel, I would say average middle class hotel. Staff were nice. Food was delicious. Beach view was great, cleanest water beach I’ve seen. There are pool activities everyday.
