I'll try to review this as objectively as I can, as maybe people in different situations might have a better experience. First, we traveled to this hotel as a family with 2 toddlers. There are absolutely no activities outside of the pool, other than a couple of hour arts/crafts place called "riuland" during the day. We traveled in January and the weather was pretty cool, the problem is the pools aren't heated. There are 3 main pools, 2 are absolutely ice cold, and the middle "heated" one is still cold. We were at this hotel for a full week and only used the pool for 2 of the days. Even those days we forced it and were shivering in the pool. The second main issue we had was with the food. At the end of the day we decided to go to an all inclusive so we can spend all day at the pool and eat a bunch of food. The pool was a no go, and the food was worse... My wife saw molding mushrooms in the breakfast omelet bar. The quality and taste of everything was just the lowest possible. Everything looks and feels rubbery. We tried out the individual restaurants and each one was worse than the last. The lobster in the steak restaurant feels like plastic and the butter is like watered down dirt, I kid you not. Our experience was so bad that we would Uber out of the hotel everyday to try and find some activity to do with the kids, and to eat out for all of our meals. We wasted a lot of money coming to this hotel and so far it doesn't seem like we will get any back.

El hotel es limpio, seguro, la comida es buena (8.5/10). Las politicas de cambio de titular si uno de nosotros no va son un poco estrictas. Los cuartos son muy buenos. La mayoria de los huespedes son extranjeros. No hay langosta en la STEAKHOUSE, el corte de carne es PESIMO en la STEAKHOUSE. El resto de los restaurantes es muy bueno. Realmente todas las actividades playeras fuera de camastros y kayak los tienes que subcontratar en SCUBA Caribe. No me agrado que un compañia de tours llamada MTS se autoproclamara como personal de expedia en el hotel y me llamara a mi cuarto para ofrecerme un traslado y tours.

The hotel was amazing, direct access to the beach, the room was nice with a cute jacuzzi that we enjoyed, the staff was very nice they were the only workers that never asked for a tip which was a relief because everyone outside the hotel expected a tip. Only problem was lack of food options. They had like 5 restaurants but the menu for each was very small, barely any real options. But that’s common in all inclusive resorts so I can’t really put that on them. Other than that I did enjoy my stay. My stuff was not taken unlike what most people say about riu hotels. I loved my stay

Amika was a wonderful front desk staff that immediately made us feel welcome, comfortable and upgraded our room for our babymoon! We had THE BEST experience here and are incredibly grateful we got to meet her and stay at such an amazing place in the villas. Having a jacuzzi in our room and the balcony was such an amazing bonus and definitely worth upgrading next time just for that. The entire resort was so clean and there was not a time we did not see staff making improvements or cleaning the entire stay. The food was incredible every day and had the best range of foods anyone in any mood could find something spectacular to enjoy.

The staff was so nice and accommodating! Truly made our experience. We went for a last minute getaway and it was perfect. We enjoyed the shows and loved the beach club party. The room was clean and they gave lots of towels. The buffet was nice to pick what you like. The restaurants aren’t anything special but for an all inclusive, it works. Drinks are amazing and definitely get the “spicy mango shot”! Would definitely go back!
