We stayed a week at this resort. We thought the decor was very modern and nice, after a week though you notice the window that was installed upside down and the leaky ceiling on the third floor near the bathrooms and chopstick restaurant, and the mold in your shower. The main floor seemed always clean and the cleaning staff was always cleaning rooms. However the hallways always seemed dirty at night and lots of dishes left outside rooms.
We upgraded to diamond club at arrival it had come recommended and advertised special accessibilities especially to the rooftop. Which apparently you can only sit in direct sun unless you are willing to pay $150-$300 for a cabana. You were not able to use the umbrellas.
Another upgrade was access to premium liquor which you could only get in two places inside the building on the first floor and the pool. Not a lot of drinking took place on this trip due to eating something bad at the Buffett the first night we got there.
A few staff that made our visit enjoyable. Sandra our butler she was amazing. If she isn’t a boss they should make her one. Always friendly, accommodating and informative. Willy was part of the entertainment team we played poker with him in the pool and he made me a very nice bracelet and found out my husband and I shared similar interests. Chantel and Luis were amazing out on the beach never felt like we were in need of help they were both very attentive. Sergio on the beach so nice.
