The rooms and facilities were very clean and in great condition. The customer service is amazing. The beach was beautiful, we went during rainy season but our beach had the least amount of seaweed compared to the surrounding resorts. Food is not excellent but its good for an all-incusive and had lots of options.

Beatiful pool area, view from the room(we got an ocean front with terrace). Food was okay. But if you are not a club aqua member, which we were not, you can not make reservation for dinner to those popular restaurants and you have to wait. There was 60min wait and 40min wait which we ended up not going. We also had an other issue regarding our room and the floor but it was towards our last day so we just suffered. I would just say it isn't a new resort and pretty aged. They have 24hr room service, cream brulee was good but other dishes were no.. My husband liked the food, and I think it was just an okay.. I had some stomach problem on my 2nd day through 3rd day morning. Remember to bring pepto just in case, it saved me. In general we had a good time, enjoyed the weather, the view of the beautiful beach and swimming.

This property severly lacks employees to keep up with everything. The night life is not inpressive at all. Most of the food is terrible at the "nice" restaurants and especially the room service. They're very pushy to get you to attend a 45 minute sales pitch to go through fiesta rewards instead of expedia or costco etc. This place is at best a badly run 4 star hotel. Our room had a broken bathroom door and the thermostat wouldnt change from celcius to farenhieght. We werent the only peiple there with the same opinoins. There were atleast 3 other couples we spoke with and had the exact same complaints and more. When checking in we got there around 115pm and were told our room should be rrady by 3pm and they would let us know. 330 comes around and others are having the exact same issue. One couple was checked in at 11am and was just told to check back every hour. Then meraculously our room and 2 other couples room were all ready at the same time when 10 mins sooner they were not. All different style rooms and floors. So its no excuse. Id recommend staying away from the place unless you want to over pay for a pretty decent beach with a great veiw but inadequate space to sit with shade and almost 0 night life at the hotel. Ricky and lunid were the best 2 there. They would put a smile on our face everytime we saw them.

Live Aqua was amazing! The facility is very clean and quiet. No loud party groups and tons of seating by the pool. All of the restaurants we tried were great too. Would highly recommend if looking for an all inclusive getaway!

Amazing stay at Live Aqua with our family. The staff is so very friendly and accommodating. There is always something to do if you want to participate by the pool or after dark. Food was amazing! Don’t hesitate to book a stay. You won’t be disappointed. We will be back!

Overall condition of this roperty is average. The hall our room was off of had a leak in the ceiling which ran all the way down the hall. We were a group of 9 guests and one of the rooms the air didn’t work. They moved them to another room and the ceiling was falling down on them. Was there 11 years ago and the overall vibe, service, and condition of the property was much better back then.

Went down this past weekend with two friends and had a great time. The resort is the perfect size and if you're looking for relaxation, this place is the perfect fit. Rooms are nice, beds are comfortable, and we all agreed the food was great. My only complaints would be: 1) You have to reserve cabanas, but none with the canopies are ever available despite being there right at 8am to reserve for the next day. Then, when you hang at the pool all day, the "reserved" ones are never touched. My guess is there is a special "club". The staff also says the poolside beds with the umbrellas are first come/first serve, but (while we got lucky), we watched several people get asked to move by the staff because they were also reserved. 2) Italian restaurant was the best for us. The thai place was good, but likely our least favorite dinner spot. The only issue we really had is we would show up right at the start of dinner time and get put on a one-hour wait list (when there were very few people in the restaurant). All good: we just put our name down and found a bar until it was time. 3) The first morning we went to breakfast, the hostess was trying to discreetly film us on her personal phone. Kind of odd, but oh well. Don't be afraid to venture out. The mall across the street is super cool. The part in front of the resort is all upscale, but if you keep walking further down, you get to a really cool and massive outdoor shopping area with different restaurants and bars.
