We loved the customer service, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the breakfast. However, there are several issues that the hotel needs to address. The food at the buffet was not the best. I understand that we probably visited during the beginning of the slow season, and the kitchen staff was new. I believe they should receive proper training before handling guest orders. Another issue was with the front desk; they never had change available to give back, either in dollars or Mexican pesos, which was inconvenient. We have stayed at Solaris two times now, and honestly, this time was not the best. I would like to give five stars to the housekeeping team members and the servers in the restaurants for their excellent service.also 5 stars to Hermelina the lady that works by the pool making pizzas.. they were amazing.

Air conditioning worked great, only issue I experienced was the bartenders over serving patrons. Turned out to be dangerous, my boyfriend was over served on the 1st into the 2nd of October. As a result, he was injured and required stitches upon arrival back in the states. Very scary and stressful situation.

Property going through major updates. Found a really cool speak easy on the property and there's a nice quiet rooftop bar area that's brand new. The price is great and the specialty dining was great

I highly recommend staying at GR Solaris you relax by the pool but if want more party you can also walk to Royal Solaris pool area they both have excellent service. The hotel Is close to airport ,close to the shopping center la isla and the night clubs. Good location I always stay at GR Solaris two or three times a year.

Property is well maintained. Room was beautiful and clean. All staff I encountered were very nice and helpful. Hotel is right on the beach. Only complaint would be the food. It was hard to get a reservation and the buffet food was terrible.
