GR Solaris Cancun is a great choice for travelers looking for a relaxing all-inclusive resort experience. Pool wait staff were great. Hotel was old rebar showing from balcony. Our room was always cold and we couldn’t move the temperature. Paid $200 for 2 massages that we were told were $76 each with our discount. Bars for any beverage didn’t open until 11am. Snack bar closed before pool closed. No communication in hotel about events. Loved my stay a few years ago but will not recommend. No thank you from Leonardo who checked us out. Best not have any more chargers on credit cards. Bellman were great. Rosoura Lizeth and Alfonso were the best part. Waiters in buffet did a great job and hustled

Food service was good. Unable to get a reservation in the restaurants as it is fully booked .Was able to eat only in the buffet restaurant and it was good.No seating available near the pool area and its very hot. Staffs very polite but most with no english.

I have no complaints at all! The resort was the perfect size. Easy walk to all amenities. The staff was simply amazing. The food options were perfect and the flavor fantastic. The beach was pristine, the water clear and warm.

We stayed there in January (5 days). It was our second visit. First time, which was last year, we were super happy. Great service, great food, very good care for our son at kids club, shows alao great..... Our last year's experience was the reason why we booked it for this year. Well, we were underwhelmed this time. Few reasons: on our second day we got sick. First I got sick, then my husband. We were going through Pepto Bismol like there is no tomorrow (to put it nicely). Thank God our son did not get sick, just us. We also felt pressured into their sales presentation regarding their membership (last year it did not happen). Another reason for our dissapointment was that next to this hotel, another big and tall building is being built. It was covering sun (near the pool-especially kids pool) and the noise of the construction was affecting our stay. Would be nice to be know that before. One of the restaurant was closes (the one near the beach), so less choice. What was great: staff, especially at the restaurents. It was much easier to book tables this time than last year, and staff were absolutelly amazing. We were promissed few free trips for attempting their sales meeting. We got everything they promissed. What was not great also: someone took our 5yr old's shoes from near the pool....He was super sad, and were not impressed. We lost 3 days out of our 5 day stay due to what looked and felt like food poisioning.

One of the best things of this hotel was the staff. Very respectful, went out of their way to make sure you were taken care of and just seemed genuine.

I wasn’t informed about the construction of a near 19 story hotel literally on top of the pool area; and the noise was all day and late evening. The workers made it uncomfortable - trying to talk to us guests - scary…

What I loved about this property was the amazing view from my balcony. Each morning, I enjoyed the sight of the ocean in front of me, with its waves sparkling in the sunlight. The soft sound of the water hitting the shore made a calming background noise as I woke up. It was a wonderful experience to step outside, breathe in the fresh, salty air, and admire the beautiful horizon.
