It was a wonderful resort, though it did seem to appeal more to an older crowd, so likely not the best place for those looking for a party and super upbeat vibes. The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. The views were amazing and they did have a few fun activities. Definitely recommend doing the Mayan tours, and water activities snorkeling was an awesome time. Food options were okay but nothing that was wowing.

Where do I start ? Well let’s start with they never brought my bags to the room. We came early and even though we have Expedia VIP we couldn’t check in early. Traveling with two kids from USA. We been to numerous resorts / hotels and they always let us check in early. The resort if you want to call it that was maybe at a 50% capacity. I requested a crib for my infant when we got there assuming it would be there when our room was ready two hours late. Did not happen. I then had to go down stairs to get my own luggage that was just sitting outside the lobby door. At 6pm. We check in at 3pm. Then I had to go to reception to request crib again. You cannot get reservations at all for the stand alone restaurant. Buffet had maybe 3 meat selections. Smallest buffet I seen at an all inclusive resort. The all inclusive package does not come with bottled water. You get two for your first day. Then you have to use a pitcher each day to get water. Weird. How do you clean the pitcher ? Coming from another country it is not recommended to drink filtered water. 9-10 you will get sick. It really felt like I was staying at a hotel with a pool. Nothing resort like about. Not much to do. I definitely would not stay there ever again. It’s sad because this is our 4th time in Mexico. And they was a terrible experience with this resort. Honestly just don’t stay here. You will be boring and hungry. 2 times I had to go to reception key wouldnt work. Don’t let them trick you into fake time share

We were very disappointed with this resort. They have 4 restaurants only one or two opened per day and we weren't able to make reservations for 2 of them... the app didn't allow us. Very limited food options, and not fresh. The staff very friendly but no security outside.. felt very unsafe. Also a lot of construction around the resort.. We have the worst experience. I would not go here again.

I really enjoyed my stay at GR Solaris Cancun. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which made a great impression from the start. The resort itself is beautiful and has a relaxing atmosphere. The only drawbacks were related to the room. My friend and I had to wait until 3:30 p.m. to check in, and although we booked an ocean view, the room provided was more of a partial view — mostly overlooking the building with just a small glimpse of the ocean. We had also requested two beds, but were given one Queen bed instead, which was not ideal since we were traveling together as friends. Overall, the service and hospitality were excellent, but the room did not fully meet our expectations based on the booking.

The only thing I like is the ocean view, when we check in the light in the room was not working , smell in the room, water leaking , toilet water was running not stop, most of the restaurants closed .. very disappointed.. talk to customer relations but didn’t do anything…
