It is an older, smaller, boutique hotel. But all employees and management team put a lot of effort every day to correct, update, paint, touch up and keep the hotel very clean and running well and efficiently. Every employee is polite, professional, friendly, helpful. The food is very delicious and fresh. We had a wonderful, comfortable and relaxing stay. The ONLY problem as that we could not get in the sea because the waves were huge and not safe to swim - NOT the fault of the hotel or any one

I visited Oleo for a solo birthday vacation and it was everything I needed it to be. It was close to the airport, it was a smaller boutique style resort, had a swimmable beach and the views were amazing. I enjoyed the food as well, which is not always the case with all inclusive. My favorite was the Japanese restaurant where the sushi was to live for. The rooms could use some updating, but not in a way that affected my stay. The atmosphere was more low key, definitely not a party vibe, but I wanted a more relaxed vibe so it was perfect. Highly recommended!

Nice surprise

Not a fan of all inclusive and only stayed here for a few days but was pleasantly surprised. My room was clean, spacious and had a fridge with water, soft drinks and beer which was replenished daily. The food that I tried was always of good quality and the restaurants clean. The drinks were all branded and the staff friendly and helpful. Nice pool and they looked after the beach well as well. Would recommend for solo or couples

The resort has beautiful views and the food options were nice. Where I have allocated 3 stars if I could make it 3.5 I would. Overall the staff manager was a lovely, helpful and kind woman. However, there were some staff with not so great customer service and they were quite dismissive. There were plumbing issues in my bathroom every other day, but they were tended to quickly. I should have gone with my gut and got my room changed, but it just became inconvenient. Also, it would be better for clients to pay the hotel tax at check in as opposed to check out as I have experienced at other hotels. Paying this charge upon check out, did not help an already frustrating issue I had with the resort regarding charges. I would overall rate my experience 3.5 stars as the resort is nice.

Resort overall was okay but has limited food section along with food quality. Food was extremely salty for everything that I’ve eaten there. I travel to Cancun quite often and enjoy staying at different resort to see what they have to offer. Staff were friendly. During check in I ask for a room upgrade despite them having an ocean view room available to upgrade me since I have vip amenity but staff stated those room does not qualify for room upgrade for vip guess but instead upgraded us to a slightly better room. Which is the first I have experience at a resort in Cancun. I have gotten upgrade for room as a vip with many other resort with no issue. Worst part is my friend who also came along to Cancun and stayed at the same resort to celebrate my birthday with me receive a room upgrade for the room that I was denied as a “vip” guess. Overall, I enjoyed my stay but would not come back due to food quality and selection.

The entire staff were very attentive to our needs during the stay. The spa services were very affordable and would highly recommend their massages. The pool and beach area were cleaned daily. The rooms were clean with a great view of the ocean. There was a wide variety of food & drink options. Great location for vacation in Cancun!!
