Vacation hotel for locals. The food was terrible. Not even the burgers and hot dogs were edible. The staff attitude was not the best, as they always seemed to be bothered by questions. Florencia restaurant was just ridiculous. 45 minutes to get a table, plates came 30 minutes apart and everything tasted awful. The pool area was always dirty with spilled cups. The hotel has a very strange design, so the view from the balcony is half a concrete wall. The only positive was the kids pool area with slides and Benji with the entertainment activities. We will come back to Cancún but we will definitely not come back to Seadust Hotel.

It was nice experience staying at this property. They have Expedia person at property to take of check in process for Expedia booking so it was easier for us to check in. The only issue we faced was vegetarian food for dinner, it has very few options available for vegetarian in dinner and restaurants also have very long wait time and limited options for vegetarian. We visited with 2 kids and they enjoyed pool and beaches. We got partial ocean view with sun rise from bed.

The front desk staff was great. Having Infinity sales group tracking people down was annoying. Not all restaurants were opened for dinner and many times there were tables available but still had an hour wait for dinner. Which appears to be a staffing issue? Food was good and given the quantity of serving had decent quality. Our room was recently remodeled; but the shower door and toilet seat were uneven. Remodel does look good.

Loved this family friendly resort, it was very nice to see families having a great time. The staff was very kind and always helpful and the food was good. Our room was beautiful! The wait for the sit down restaurants was long, we did not get to try them. Overall we would come come again!

Pros- staff was great, food was very good. The inside of property was spacious and clean. Cons- made us pay a lot extra when we arrived for a “teenager” when Expedia required ages, and had a teen on original price. Really rough waves at the beach, dangerous for children Small property (outdoors) compared to others, everyone was packed in to the pool and beach area.

The staff was extremely nice and professional. The rooms were a little outdated and the food was served cold in 2 out of the 4 restaurants we ate in. Our room had a roach amd plumbing issues which took them 2 days to fix. I wouldn't recommend the hotel to family or friends.

Our family of 5 was scheduled to stay at Seadust Cancun for one week during Spring Break. I was unaware that I needed passports for my children to fly to Mexico. We have flown domestic before using only birth certificates but never flown internationally. We have also traveled to Mexico before by cruise ship and only needed birth certificates for kids. We missed our trip due to kids not having passports. I booked through Expedia and I am not asking for a refund. I would only like to change my travel dates so we can get the kids passports. But neither Expedia nor the Seadust Cancun resort are willing to do that. They both say that because I booked through a 3rd party there is nothing they can do. But I am sure that someone has the ability to fix this and make it right! It was a lot of money that we paid for our family of 5 vacation and it’s just not right that both say that I just have to forfeit our money and our trip!
