The hotel was very central and convenient . There was works going on which were over running , but we new this. The staff were very helpful and friendly ,especially the restaurant staff. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Overall a nice pleasant experience and would stay again

Great place for people who want or need to stay close to the city Centre or Waterfront. It is a very convenient place with a good service and everything you need. The pool is not for sports, it is too small. I didn't try the gym.

gemütliches Hotel zwischen Waterfront und Downtown

Pros: Die Lage ist hervorragend!
Cons: Snacks und Drinks nach 23.00 Uhr anbieten. In den Ferien / am Wochenende könnte das wichtig sein.
Location: Das Hotel liegt nahe an der Waterfront sowie auch nahe am Stadtzentrum. Zu Fuss ist beides innert Minuten erreichbar!
Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Vor allem das Personal in der Küche und im Service. Wenn man an der Bar sitzt, ist man direkt vor der Küche und kann auch zuschauen, wie die Mahlzeiten zubereitet werden. Schade gibt es nach 22.00 Uhr keine Speisen mehr, nicht einmal Snacks. Die Bar schliesst um 23.00 Uhr. Danach gibt es auch nichts mehr zu trinken. Ein Automat in der Lobby hat Softdrinks. Der Automat war jedoch zwei mal defekt. Ich war für 8 Übernachtungen in der City Lodge. Die ersten vier Nächte war meine Klimaanlage defekt. Ich meldete es nach der ersten Nacht, danach musste ich noch drei Nächte gedulden. Danach funktionierte die Klimaanlage einwandfrei. Ich bestellte eines Morgens im Hotel ein Taxi, um mich um 1330 Uhr abzuholen, um mich zur Bergbahn zu bringen. Nach 80 Minuten warten in der Lobby kam das Taxi nicht, und ich annullierte das Taxi und ging zu Fuss, um ein Taxi zu finden. Wenn man sich schweizer Pünktlichkeit gewohnt ist, sind 80 Minuten eher frustrierend. Leider waren auch Bauarbeiten im Hotel im Gange. Ausser am Sonntag war nach 0800 Uhr morgens jeden Tag lautes Bohren zu hören. Man wurde jedoch über den Lärm informiert bei der Ankunft, jedoch hat man dies erst nach der Buchung erfahren. Online gab es keine derartige Info. Ohne Lärm und mit funktionierender Klimaanlage könnte ich das Hotel jedoch weiter empfehlen. Preis / Leistung würden sonst stimmen.
