Stayed overnight as was a guest at a wedding in Hensol. Beautiful room with all the amenities, used the sauna/steam room/jacuzzi the next morning. Only downside was check in couldn’t be brought forward prior to the wedding so had to leave my bag in the store room and check in on my return from the wedding in the night, but staff were very helpful. Would definitely stay again!

My mother booked this stay for myself and my new husband as part of a wedding gift. We were upgraded to a suite on arrival and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food in the restaurant was delicious too. We will definitely be staying again.

Doesn't live up to its reoutation

Fabulous setting, lots of facilities , grand entrance reception, large rooms. Tired and in need of a refurbishment- surface clean only , dust everywhere and bathroom floor hasn't been cleaned in a long time Housekeeping started making a noise and playing the radio outside the room at 8am . Staff generally - everything too much trouble and need to up their game- very disappointing and won't be staying again

Good facilities but that's it

Transport to and from Henson Castle took 45 minutes to come! I called the reception/swtichboard from the room but noone answered, ever! Other friends who stayed in the rooms booked within the wedding package allocation did not receive robes and slippers. Very poor for £150 a room!
