Hotel Dann was nice hotel but did lack some basic amenities hotels and resorts normally have such as wash cloths, ice machines, microwaves, and a mini bar with alcohol. You can go to the restaurant and ask for ice and for them to microwave your food. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. Every morning breakfast was different and had many options to choose from. The coffee was the best I’ve ever had! The alcoholic beverage were strong but tasted great like you want. The pool was nice but the hot tub was cold when we went. The beach is a public beach and I don’t recommend it. There are too many hagglers making it hard to enjoy your time there. The water on the beach is also not that clear. The hotel is in a great location and there is a lot within walking distance. Overall we did enjoy our time there and would recommend.

Other hotels were more expensive and may have offered more amenities, but this is the ONLY hotel ON THE BEACH in all of Boca Grande which means the balcony suite I booked with a balcony allowed me to hear crashing waves, fresh air, and great views of the entire beach, getsamey, and the walled city. It would take 30 minutes to walk to the boca grande mall plaza that has beach views and a terrace on the food court level to watch the sun set. Movie theater there also. You never have to walk more than 3 minutes to have restaurants or mini markets to replenish drinks etc there is a pharmacy and bakery within a 7 minute walk. You could literally stay at the hotel dann and never walk more than 10 minutes and have your needs met. The path past the pool leads to the public beach. I made signs so i wouldn't be solicited. I stayed for ten nights and never saw a dispute or problem on the beach. Police officers are walking and on ATV's so their presence is enough to command compliance. Thongs are normal at any age so educate your children if they have never been exposed. There are folks selling good, drinks, umbrella seating, and floats for kids but you could easily bring your own noodles etc in your luggage. We appreciated the breakfast daily but I was only interested in the fruit and eggs, it was too early for pork, beef, rice, beans, and soup for me. There are steps to get to the main level of the front desk and to the elevators. Maybe there is a separate entrance for wheelchairs Idk

Hotel itself is average and matches the price. Doesn't offer anything memorable and definitely could use some renovations. My biggest issue with this hotel is that it's not accessible - the elevator starts on the 2nd floor and stops every two floors so you will have to walk up/down some stairs. Not fun when you've been walking all day or need to carry your luggage up/down. I will say the customer service was good from all hotel crew, front desk, bell men, bartenders and servers. It's also conveniently located near a public beach with direct access, however the beach is not the best and is highly trafficked by street vendors. There is really nothing to do walking distance in the surrounding area. I would recommend you stay in the walled city if you want to experience the culture and want to be near the nightlife.

I had one of the worst experiences at this hotel. My daughter is on wheelchair and I reserve this hotel without knowing that this is not an accessible hotel. They don’t advertise that, they have stairs everywhere to get to the lobby, to go to the rooms, to go to the pool, the bathrooms are not accessible. Very sad to see that a very recognize brand doesn’t do anything to make the facilities accessible.

5-Star Stay! Highly Recommend I had an amazing experience at Hotel Dann and would definitely return. First and foremost, the cleanliness stood out—everything from the lobby to the rooms and common areas was spotless and well-maintained. The housekeeping team clearly takes pride in their work. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Whether it was the front desk, restaurant servers, or pool attendants, everyone made me feel welcome and went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed. The location is perfect—close enough to local attractions but still peaceful and relaxing. Being just steps from the beach was a huge bonus, and the ocean views were breathtaking. The amenities were top-notch. The pool area was beautiful and never overcrowded, with plenty of loungers and shaded spots. The on-site restaurants offered a great variety of delicious meals and drinks, with something for everyone. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations. Whether you’re looking to relax or explore, this is a fantastic place to stay!
