Lovely apartment, very clean and spacious, and it was lovely having a terrace to sit out on. The hotel staff were very friendly and communicative. The location was brilliant- central to everything, but on a quiet side street so not too noisy. Only issue was the stairs up to the kitchen area were creaky and a bit unstable.

The staff was wonderful - very responsive and friendly. The apartment was quiet while being just steps away from Via Etna with all the historical sights, restaurants and shopping. Grocery stores were close by as well as the fresh food markets. We used the pull-out couch and it was comfortable. We also used the small terrace every day. There is no view but we enjoyed feeling like we were part of the neighborhood.

Responsive staff to any issue. Did not like that you can't run AC without a special key that is attached to the old fashioned room keys. Inconvenient when you have lots of luggage as the closest street when you are in a car/taxi is a ways off. Can walk to most key sites easily form location. The apartment was very clean! Well maintained. The service by the staff is perfect. Very responsive, have great recommendations, even help us set up transportation for a few day trips we had planned. Highly recommend!

It was probably the worst service and experience i have had in any place i have stayed anywhere in the world! The single aircon in the mezzanine attic room with skylights in a siclian summer is ineffective to say the least and when there is a pillar in front blocking it, it is unlivable. And when you complain, the manager on night duty was unapologetic, unhelpful, abusive and as much of a nightmare as the room!

Fantastic stay with the Ferrini. Great base to be in the heart of the city, yet quiet and well air conditioned. Great place for a couple. The staff were super helpful and hospitable from introdusin us to the place to helping with ideas or things to do. Very polite and helpful, can't rate them high enough. We did not have a car, maybe harder with one and where youy park etc.

The living quarters were loft style which is a favorite for me. Everything was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was very cute and well organized with many gadgets for the stay. The hotel is central to restaurants and historic buildings and sites. Transportation is convenient and you can find tours and markets that are accessible by just a short walk.

Great Apartment in The Heart of Catania

Fantastic apartment! Very comfortable and you can’t beat the location. Comfortable bed, but you have to go up stairs to the bedroom and the bathroom is on the main floor. That is the only negative. Office for the building is around the corner and they arranged a taxi for me to the airport. The ladies in the office are very helpful. The metro is just around the corner and takes you (one stop) to the bus and train station. The restaurant outside the front door is very good! Say hi to Katiana, she speaks great english and is very helpful. There are also a few markets close by to get things to cook if you like, and bottled water.

Spacious unit

The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. Only issue we had was that the bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom on the lower level. Location was close to sites and restaurants. Communication with host was great.

The apartment is spectacular, especially the lovely terrace. The only drawback is that you have to climb a staircase to go to the bathroom, even so, I would not hesitate to return again without thinking twice.
