We had a wonderfull experience at Cessnock Vintage Motor Inn . The place was near to the Hunter valley gardens and the host was very friendly and helpful .

The new owners are trying hard, but....the lighting in the room was very ordinary and the advertised wifi was intermittent at best. I understand this is about to be upgraded but is still being advertised as available on Expedia. Parking was tight, I was squeezed between two big vehicles. The good news: management is friendly and helpful, the cleanliness can’t be faulted and it’s surprisingly quiet.
