Stay away

The bathroom door wouldn’t close, they were renovating an elevator and the other elevator was awful. The vending machines didn’t work so we couldn’t get any drinking water. The ice machine didn’t work. The breakfast that we were supposed to have access to at the hotel next door was completely void of food an hour before it was supposed to be over. The staff seemed friendly enough, but the hotel should be closed until the renovations are complete. And on more than just the elevator.

The first room I got the fire alarm in the room was chirping and just needed a battery. I asked and she moved me to a different room. The next room, the toilet didn’t work and wouldn’t flush. The best part was the bed and it being comfortable or I was just tired and any bed would have done the job.

DONOVAN, Aspen

Well its current name isn't Charleston Tower, it's Best Western. Currently no gym, no pool, no ice, and only one elevator works. Breakfast apparently included, if you walk to a different hotel. Room is clean, and superficially updated, but it's clear corners were cut wherever possible. It's remodel but a rather superficial and at times sloppy one. Just kind a weird, to be honest. Doesn't seem like anyone is actually staying here, given the 8 cars in the parking lot.

I believe the property is still fixing up the hotel as it was formally Best Westrrn…still need to work on the elevator because it looked condemned…there was homeless people outside the hotel and they need to work on security on controlling how they let the homeless people come up to the door…felt a little unsafe…the room was nice and the customer arrive was good

Hotel was hard to find as Hotels.com lists it as the Charleston Tower, but the signage says Best Western. Went around in circles trying to find it. Hotel definitely shows its age and lack of building maintenance. Breakfast offered was one of the poorest we've encountered.

Hotel is dated and being worked on. The staff is amazing, Ms. Lawade is one of those people that not only took care of a mix up in reservation but made sure everything was good with our stay. She deserves 5 stars! The room was quiet very clean and the bed was comfortable. Enjoy your stay here.
