This historical spot is perfect for a get away. We loved walking to surrounding spots and events. We also used the free transit for local stops. We loved eating at Alleia and Colliope. Great long weekend stay! Make sure to get John to tell you the story of room 311.

My wife and i really enjoyed the look,feel and the vibe that the hotel presents from the time you check in with valet. -Chop House dining was amazing! Our server Dylan made it a great experience. -Billiards Bar has some amazing drink slections along with delicious food. Our bartender Nate was great explaining a few drinks that we had interest in.Ending our bar top stay with Barry and Taylor behind the bar, everyone we encountered showed great hospitality! -The ROOM unfortunately our room was not provided with trash bags. The phone had bad batteries which would randomly chime through the stay. The air filter for the AC was very clogged. Other than just a few minor complaints we highly recommend the stay at the Historic Read Hotel
