Check-in was awful. We'd been communicating about an early check-in to our king suite for a month, all the way through to the morning of. Not only did that not happen, but we didn't even get into our room until 3:40—40 minutes after check-in time. We had to cancel our Lyft to Navy Pier (which i was charged for) and no one even offered to help us bring all of our luggage up to the 12th floor. The thing that was most frustrating was the non-stop excuses from employees and management. While we did get a comp, it didn’t make up for the poor check-in experience, which was NOT how we wanted to start off our first (and short) visit to the city as a family. It seems the main problem is that they're either understaffed or extremely slow with housekeeping. I hated being a "Karen" with the manager, but it was justified, unfortunately. The king suite itself was fantastic, though. Would've been nice to have a microwave and alarm clock, but we loved everything else about the spacious & clean room! It was nice to have our doggos with us here, too. Unfortunately, we likely won't be staying here again when we return to Chicago. Which is a shame because it's a beautiful property in a great location.

The room’s carpets were stained; the bathroom was so small, one had to step into the shower to close the bathroom door. The on-site dining options were overworked and underwhelming. On the plus side, the lobby was nice, as was the room’s view of the lake & city. Just a block & a half from the Red Line, transportation was easy and convenient. The adjacent, valet-only, parking was really very good. Super-responsive folks w/ full in / out privileges.

DO NOT STAY HERE

AC unit was not working, they had a jerry rigged temporary AC unit, excessive noise and the blinds would not close so the room was not dark or quite to sleep, I asked the front desk, but no one came to address the issue, nor they changed our room. I ended booking another hotel nearby and left the premises disgusted, horrible, place

Last minute booking and pleasantly surprised with how much we liked this hotel. Staff is attentive and eager to be of assistance if needed. We made several comments during our stay about how quiet the hotel is, minus the lobby for obvious reasons. Small to-go cafe available with healthy menu options, all reasonable priced. Rooms and hote facilities were all very clean. The outdoor area was well manicured with bistro sets and umbrellas, perfect for enjoying a morning cup of coffee in the fresh air. Finally, adorable neighborhood that is close to the close, restaurants & shopping, with parking garage availability next door to the hotel (for additional fee). Would highly recommend this hotel.
