Incidental Fee will be charged that is not listed!
A $75 "Incidentals Fee", was charged to us upon check-in. We told the lady at the front desk that hotels.com did not say anything about this fee. She said that she could not say what hotels.com shows, but that Expedia.com shows the fee. As you can see in both photos I am attaching, one from Expedia and one from hotels.com, neither one of them show that fee. They show a $1.99 per person fee. For the four of us, that would have been $8. Not $75. That $75 is also still pending in our bank, as of this posting, leaving it unable to be touched, even more than 12 hours after check out of the hotel. That was money we were not prepared to spend, aside from what we had already paid. So that feels like false advertisement.
Here are the other pros and cons:
Pros:
1.) Hot Tub felt amazing! Especially after a long drive. Pool was large and nice, as well. Very well cleaned, as can be told by the chlorine smell in the air.
2.) Employees at the front desk are very friendly and very helpful.
3.) Room was clean
4.). Breakfast choices were plenty, and delicious.
Cons:
1.) Incidental Fee of $75 that we were not aware of ahead of staying, and that we didn't budget for.
2.) Beds are extremely uncomfortable and worn out. Felt like we were sleeping on rocks! Beds desperately need to be replaced.
3.) Handicap chairs at the pool and hot tub, are very rusted and need to be replaced
Country Inns and Suites has always been a favorite place to stay, but not after this.
