Is no housekeeping the new thing when you’re staying more than 1 night ? At least tell us before hand so we can hang our towels and not be expecting clean ones . On the other hand : Staff very friendly, breakfast hot and ready , Location -Great !! Very walkable

Relocation & Cleanliness Issues

Unfortunately, our 4-night stay at the Hampton Inn was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were told we couldn't stay at the hotel the first night and were relocated to another property many blocks away. Then, we were informed that we would likely need to find another hotel altogether for the second night because they planned to move us again—though not back to the same place we’d just been relocated to. They also wouldn't transfer our full stay to a different hotel, which added a lot of unnecessary stress and confusion. When we finally were able to check in two days later, the room was not properly cleaned. There was trash in the drawers and behind the trash can, and debris all over the bathroom—including a press-on nail on the floor. The towels provided had stains on them, and we had to request new ones. When we brought all this to the front desk's attention, the only response we got was, “Sorry, we’re short staffed.” I understand that staffing issues happen, but the complete lack of preparation, cleanliness, and care for guests' experience made this stay incredibly frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend this property until they make significant improvements.

This Hampton Inn is in the best location! It allows easy walking distance to all local attractions. The hotel room was spacey and clean. The breakfast does not disappoint. The front staff were exceptionally helpful.

The hotel definitely gives value for money. Not super expensive, but fantastic location, and does have a somewhat cheaper parking option available right next to it. Don’t know why they don’t advertise it though. The only downside was a terribly noisy AC, a thermostat that only went from 68 to 69F and back, and a pillar right in the middle of the room. It gets really noisy at night, but that probably comes with being in downtown. They can probably upgrade the windows a tad bit to make it better, but can’t complain with the location. Not sure if I have any real complaints at the moment.

This hotel is a bit run down, the beds not super comfortable, and a lot of ambient noise. That being said the staff is friendly and helpful, it's in an extremely walkable area, and feels quite safe.

Great stay. Didn't like having to go to one floor for ice and then another to fill water bottle. Breakfast staff was rude when I used the pitcher of water to fill my water bottle up. Could have just had two pitchers setting out, problem solved.

Could use a few updates

The reason why i gave a 3 star is the fact that the room was extremley small and hot. The temperature wouldn't go lower than 68°, and as a woman going through menopause...wowee hot! The toilet ran a lot so i wouldn have to remove the tank lid to fix the stopper. However the good stuff outweighed the negatives. The staff was incredibly accomadating and so friendly. The breakfast was absolutely delicious as well.
