Every time I travel to Chicago, I stay at this Holiday Inn. The staff are kind and the location is convenient no matter if you just want to stay in the Oak Brook area or if you want to travel out into downtown Chicago and its surrounding suburbs. Lazy Dog and First Watch restaurants are across the street, along with Walgreens, Ulta, and TJ Maxx. The mall is about a minute drive and you have Giordano’s Pizza practically next door.

The staff members who work here do wear any identifying shirts, etc. It’s very strange and clear it’s a family and most of them don’t want to be bothered. The location was the best thing about this hotel.

Went there on New Year’s Eve 2024 there was a party there that I prepaid for arrived and there was no parking available after advertised plenty, The concierge just shrugged his shoulders ,and the elevators had a smell to them maybe that just wasn’t the right night.

Room was ok but had a bad smell. Bed mattress was sunken in. Bathroom had hair in the bathtub. Staff was nice. The rooms on our floor were extremely loud with disruptive and inconsiderate guests. Breakfast had undercooked bacon and sausage and stale condiments. Overall, my family and I were there for a New Year's Eve party for two days and couldn't wait to leave. Checked out early before checkout. Considering the area it was in, we truly expected better.
