The staff are very pleasant. the food excellent. The hotel is being refurbished which according to the bits already done will be great. The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere and in this cold weather was nice and warm.

Excellent weekend stay

We had a very enjoyable weekend, the rooms are spacious and the bed is very comfortable. There were a number of lovely touches including chocolate on the pillows and tea and hot chocolate facilities in the room. Service was top class and all the food was tasty with generous portions.
