Pros: Overall is good. The room is clean and quiet. Noise isolation is so well. My baby didn't bother others when she was crying and we didn't hear any noise in the room during the stay. Staffs are nice and helpful. The location is surrounded by a lot of decent restaurants. 1 minute walk to the Michigan Ave which is like the 5th Ave in the New York City. Cons: No bedside light control. 1 bed reading light is not working. No air ventilation in the bathroom. The bathroom will be full of steam when you take a shower. The coffee machine is in the cabinet is a little awkward. You will need to pull out the machine to refill water after you pull all the way out of the drawer and the power cord is holding it back. TV can only watch TV program even it's a smart TV. Unable to watch youtube, netflix, etc.

I think this is a refurbished hotel. The front is clean. They have unique art in the foyer and an upstairs gallery. There are two elevators….seem pretty fast and we don’t wait. The floor we were on was a bit tired. Our room was quite nice. Very hot shower. Nice lighting. Bed is medium firmness which was a snitch soft for my wife (but how do you know!?!). Fitness centre has a lot of equipment for the space. Nice mix of treadmills, bikes, and strength. The surrounding area has nice shops and nice restaurants nearby. There is a fair amount of street noise at night (sirens from ambulances). For the price point quite reasonable.

The staff was great, the rooms comfortable. My only complaint was the espresso machines did not work well at all. Very confusing first, then the machine would crush the pods so we used 6 pods to get 2 cups of coffee, not very efficient.

Very clean hotel, friendly staff. Loved the decor and art exhibits. Very convenient to Rush St and Michigan Ave shops and restaurants. Comfortable beds and pillows, got three great nights of sleep. The 21C Museum Hotel does not have the awful motion sensor thermostats that many of the larger chains (Marriott) are now using. This allows the guest to continuously run the HVAC fan and have good white noise while sleeping. I would definitely stay at the 21C again, and will look to stay at their locations in other cities. Thank you 21C for a great stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the 21c museum hotel! I wish it was for longer than one night. Clean, convenient to everything, comfy bed (very important), nice, hot shower with good water pressure (important) and friendly, kind staff. Highly recommend for anyone staying in Chicago!!

Arrived to poorly lit halls leading to room. Very unpleasant smell in room. Dirty tabletops in room, trash under furniture, walls with dings & chipped paint, the “closet” was an old makeshift cabinet, robes looked like they were from GoodWill, previous guests dirty underwear in bathroom! Disgusting!!!
