The rooms were clean and comfortable and it was cute that there were earplugs in the rooms incase you weren't used to city noise. The little Deli at the front of the property was a happy find.☺️ The room was a bit cold but when the staff was told they immediately tried to rectify the situation.

We always stay here when we go back home to Chicago! This is the cutest, coziest hotel! Always clean. I’m very picky about hotel cleanliness, as everyone surely is. However, this hotel never fails to exceed expectations. And the manager Pauline and her crew is so friendly and kind! I had the best stay!

Excellent 3-night weekend stay. Front desk staff are very helpful and courteous (especially Hector, who made my very-late night checkin a breeze). Easy walk to Chicago Theater and other places in the area. Plenty of great dining options within walkable distance. The hotel parking worked out great, and well worth the money. The rooms were clean,warm, comfortable and almost luxurious, with nice touches here and there to show they care about the small things. Quiet too, especially considering our location. Belies the “motel” monicker for sure. I will definitely look to make more trips to Chicago and stay here again. Highly recommend.

$39 PARKING PER NIGHT BEWARE. You will find out this after you book but not apparent before. Seems high even for Chicago. Nearby parking is cheaper. Room and overall service was fine.

This motel was a pleasant surprise! I trusted the reviews and booked here and everyone was right. The rooms are cleaner than some of the higher end hotels I’ve stayed in. The bathroom was so nice and clean, loved the upgraded walk in shower. Staff was amazing, friendly, and helpful. We would definitely choose to stay here again on our next trip to Chicago.

I always like to stay at the Ohio house when I come to Chicago. It gives me everything I need as far as the essentials and the parking is the most attractive feature. However, management decided to start charging for parking this year, which was always the main bonus of staying here. I don't know how much this will affect their operations or bottom line, but only time will tell. I do enjoy the affordability of the place, and the convenient location. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. The night female receptionist especially (I forgot her name, sorry) was very welcoming and friendly. The way you would want staff to be trained when welcoming guests. Overall, great place, we will see if they retract their nightly parking fees.
