It was an amazing stay. We love the location, the bar, the restaurant, and our cabin. Plenty to see and do in the area.

The property itself was beautiful, but the check-in process left a lot to be desired. We called a week in advance to confirm that we’d be arriving after hours and were told there would be a self check-in process — but no details were provided beyond that. When we arrived, there was no signage indicating where the registration or check-in area was, which made it really confusing. We ended up driving all around the property trying to figure it out. Thankfully, we happened to catch a bartender locking up and were able to ask for help — otherwise, we would have had no idea where to go or how to get in.
It would have made a big difference if we had received more clear instructions in advance or if there had been proper signage on-site. The stay itself was fine, but the lack of communication and organization during check-in definitely started the experience off on a frustrating note.
The stay was all we needed - bed and bathroom. Our toilet didn’t flush though. Breakfast and service was great.
The location was great and the room was very clean and beautiful. No cell network in here. I wish they offer WiFi. That was the only negative factor on our one-night stay.
This teepee resort is made up of log cabins and a short 30 min drive from the Yellowstone East Entrance. They have an excellent restaurant and gift shop on site. They do offer wifi at the main building only but it is understandably very weak. Please note the area around the resort is still wild and we saw a couple bears on the side of the road to the resort!
Staff was friendly and helpful and we liked having delicious food and drink options on the premises at the restaurant and saloon. Wifi did not work at all in the cabin, and didnt really work at the lodge either.
Small, but very adequate room in A-frame on grounds of Buffalo Bill's lodge just outside east gate of Yellowstone. Restaurant served well-made homestyle food; bar served a properly made Old-Fashioned.
This property is exactly what you would expect, an adequate place to stay convenient to the East Yellowstone entrance. The wifi is basically non-existent, the cabin rooms are small, the furniture is old. However, the restaurant was pretty good and the staff were all amazing. I would recommended this place as long as you understand what you are paying for - an acceptable place to sleep convenient to your trip itinerary.
The location is perfect only 5 minutes from the west entrance of Yellowstone park. The place doesn’t have internet in the rooms and no hair-dryer. It’s clean and nice experience.

Lovely spot for watching Buffalo & Bears. The buffalo bill museum was really good. The food in the restaurant was tasty. The negative was no internet other than in the restaurant and no TV in the room.
The resort was pretty comfortable to stay in, the historical aspect to it was particularly interesting. Only two things to improve- one is that there was no hair dryer in the bathroom. The other was that the restaurant closed to the guests on Saturday night with no warning. It was apparently for a Lions' club dinner. This would normally not be a problem, but there was nowhere else to get dinner there. I would also like to say that the staff were very nice.
I loved the staff and food at the restaurant. Check in lady also wonderful. Rented a one room cabin with queen bed and bathroom. Bed was comfortable and cabin was spotless. We stayed one night the 3rd week
In May. They had a snow the week before. There wasn’t a working air conditioner and the cabin was small and air stagnant and warm. The windows didn’t come up so there was no way to get fresh air. Had to open and close door couple times at night to bring in cool air.
