"We stayed for two weeks in The Kingsbury and it was incredible. It was our first time in Sri Lanka and we chose to stay in The Kingsbury because we were attending a wedding there. The service was amazing, the staff cannot do enough for you; holding doors open for you before you get to them, wishing you well every time you see them, cooking off-the-menu items to suit dietary requirements.
The food was delicious in all the restaurants we tried. We booked to have breakfast included but we had a few excursions planned which meant leaving before 6am. We spoke to reception and they arranged for us to have a take away breakfast.
Our towels didn’t get replaced one of the days but if that’s all we have to complain about in two weeks, that’s pretty good going. We would highly recommend The Kingsbury if you are planning on visiting Sri Lanka."

Absolutely amazing stay at Shangri-La Colombo! The hotel is stunning and super comfortable, but what really stood out was the incredible service.
Special thanks to Nisal at the front desk—so professional and helpful—and Ishani in the lobby lounge, who was warm, friendly, and made us feel truly welcome.
Everything from check-in to check-out was seamless. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!
