Overlooking river

Pros: Cleanliness of room and views of the river.
Cons: Bar staff could be friendlier and there should be no charge for car park if staying at the hotel.
Location: Just over a bridge from shops so good central location.
We stayed for one night. Booked a junior suite with balcony. No balcony but noticed the rooms with balcony are closed in by glass. Room comfortable and very clean and modern. Staff at reception friendly. Bar staff not so friendly. Lovely outdoor area downstairs on ground floor. They charge for their car park 8euros for overnight which I do not agree with. Close to city centre and nice views of the river.

Would like to stay again with time to enjoy it.

We were staying in Limerick overnight as a pit stop before heading further south and booked this hotel at the last minute as there was a coupon offer available. It was really lovely. Comfortable, great showers, nicely decorated room with space to work at a desk and really friendly, pleasant staff. We had booked room only but there was a discount on breakfast and we were glad we chose that as there was an excellent buffet. If I was heading to Limerick for work or a break I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely fantastic

Location of this hotel was fantastic - we also got a great deal for the night, although it didn't include breakfast. Parking was €5 for overnight, which wasn't disclosed on the website we booked on, but it was as small fee so didn't influence by review really. Beds were kingsize and very comfortable, bathrooms were immaculate with shower stall and bath

It's no Hilton

From the minute we got to the Hotel things went downhill.I stayed here 2 years ago when it was "The Hilton" and gave it a great review.I was really looking forward to going again.I didn't look up any other Hotel in Limerick.1st thing is that they now charge for Parking. It isn't expensive €5 per night but you have to ask the charge. Then when we went to book in they had no record of us booking or having paid in full. The receptionist was neither friendly or unfriendly.I was told that she would let me know later if breakfast was included in the price when she spoke with her manager but I never heard from her.We got a room which was on the 5th floor but if the window was open you could still hear the cars below. The room was ok.The shower was awful,it kept going hot/cold and the shower head had lime scale on it as did the inside of the kettle. One of the cushions had a hole in it.It wouldn't have if it was still a "Hilton" We didn't get chocolates the 2nd day on the tray with coffee. The Bar staff were nice but the person in the Coffee shop was very unfriendly. The location is great but I will be looking for another Hotel in Limerick.
