Out of the city paki brilliant fab hotel

Across the road from U.L. which was ideal for us

Pros: Decor, staff, ambience
Cons: Steak was delicious but quite cold when received but restaurant, to be fair, was extremely busy at the time
Location: Right across the road from U.L
Loved the decor of hotel. Hotel itself was busy but the staff were obviously used to working under pressure and were very attentive to guests needs. We were attending a big gymnastics event in UL and the hotel were fantastic in accommodating those of us that needed to leave early by starting full breakfast service half an hour earlier than normal. All in all, a fantastic stay, and only wished could have stayed longer. Served by Kevin Murray in coffee bar & again in restaurant and he was fantastic, a credit to your hotel :-)

Wedding stay

I have nothing but good words to say about this hotel. The renovations done on the hotel are fantastic and the interior design is beautiful. They have superb staff especially their bar man Kevin. We will be staying there anytime we are in limerick. Thank you!

A Touch of Class

We spent 2 nights at the Castletroy as part of a trip taking in some 6 different locations. In terms of the hotel this was outstanding - the best by some distance!

Wonderful hotel (but avoid when Ireland wins a rugby match!)

The hotel itself was wonderful. It had a party until 2.00 am on both the nights we were there, which kept us awake on the first night so they sweetly moved us for our second night. They had some very noisy residents because Ireland had won a rugby match and we tried to eat first in the bar, but that was very noisy, and so moved into the restaurant and the rugby crowd followed us in! So the staff were very accommodating and moved us back to the bar. So amazing staff and lovely hotel - by the number of people there it is clearly a popular place!

Hotel Perfect Close to UL

Lovely Hotel. Staff were friendly and attentive. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was brilliant everything you could ask for. Fantastic location across from the University of Limerick ideal for the Special Olympic Ireland games. Would definitely stay again. Check on the Internet to get the cheapest price available.
