I loved the photos they posted. However this hotel is not for travelers. We stayed in room 501 and after trying to turn on the AC and nothing happened, we were told the room did NOT have AC!!!! In the summer! They brought us a fan. We tried to open the window to get some airflow, however it would only crack open maybe 1-2”. And since there wasn’t a screen, it let bugs in and we got bit (assuming a mosquito as it was in random spots). In addition the room did not have a top sheet, only a duvet cover. However it was too HOT to sleep under it. I don’t sleep well without a cover, so sleep was not my friend. And I woke up with a couple of bites from sleeping with the window open. Lastly, the restaurant was a disaster. They gave us a drink menu that included martinis and then proceeded to tell us they don’t make martinis (even though the bar clearly had vodka, simple syrup and lemons (lemon drop martini). My partner order the meat platter and it was awful. The bbq pulled pork was dry and crunchy. The brisket wasn’t smoked and clearly pan fried in oil. Had zero flavor, except the grease from the pan. Zero seasoning. He said the only good thing was the two chicken wings it included. I couldn’t believe the could serve anything that looked like that! We won’t stay here again or eat here again.

The staff are superb!

Some of the most pleasant staff I’ve ever met! Rooms are basic and a little tired and the showers are overdue an upgrade. Food was very nice and again, the staff at dinner were outstanding.

Great location for the University. Bit of a trek (€18 uber) into town. Lovely hotel with great bar and really friendly restaurant staff. Food was fab too. Executive room was pretty dated. We found out on 3rd day that we were in one of the rooms that had not been re-furnished.

We enjoyed our stay at Kilmurry Lodge very much. We did a last minute stay while traveling and Im so glad we stopped here. The front desk staff were friendly and accomodating. The staff at Nelligans was excellent! Kate in particular was super sweet and entertaining. The rooms were clean and worked just fine for a stay.

Just stayed there with my son in a little vacation to see family in Clare and Llimerick. The staff was wonderful and the food in the restaurant was delicious. It was also nice to be able to walk out to get the bus. Definitely will be planning to stay there again.

This was super convenient for our purposes. We were visiting University of Limerick UL. We caught a bus from Dublin which literally took us right there. We got in late and were able to enjoy a lovely dinner at the hotel restaurant. The Irish Breakfast was a Batavian. And we were able to walk to UL. We were also able to pick up things at the pharmacy and grocery store right across the highway. As an American I was flabbergasted at how drivers were religious about stopping for pedestrians at the cross walk. The staff were very friendly. The hotel was clean and quiet.

Bra och fint hotell. God mat i restaurangen till rimliga priser. Halvtimmes resa till centrum med lokal buss. Flygbuss Citylink till Dublin airport har hållplats alldeles i närheten.
