"Air conditioning wasn’t working properly in our room however they offered to move us. We declined so they brought fans for us to use. Staff were friendly and courteous. Would stay there again. "

"We loved being near music, shops, restaurants and the lovely town park -- Eyre Square. Galway was a very walkable town. We walked to the ferry to Inishmore Island, easily caught a tour bus to Connemara, and walked all through town very easily. We were on the street side so could hear the music and people until about 11 PM but that was part of the fun. Great staff who helped us figure out our itinerary!! "

"The Lodge at Ashford Castle is a beautiful option for those wanting to stay near the castle but not pay the exorbitant price to stay in the castle. It was comfortable and charming and has everything you need, you have access to all the activities and you can walk the entire grounds and get beautiful photos of the castle. The breakfast is also delicious! Keep in mind that the Lodge guests can’t go inside the castle at all unless you are dining at one of the restaurants."
