Labor Day Weekend Getaway

I asked the desk clerk (Hashi) to show me to my room. We switched all the lights on in the room and I mentioned that the lights are dim, but all the bulbs were in working condition. The room had a strong odor of recently treated for pests which caused a uncomfortable headache throughout the night. It was apparent the room had recently undergone cosmetic renovation, but the refrigerator was not cold and the microwave sparked when used. I immediately stopped it! We traveled with a service animal which having no carpet flooring was a plus, but the flooring was slick as if it was mopped with insect repellant which also projected an unpleasant odor. Breakfast is not served, but coffee and instant hot cereal. I ordered To-Go from Andy's Country Kitchen and was impressed with the Andy's Country Breakfast. I recommend Pompano's Seafood House & Oyster Bar for dinner. Both are nearby. Aside from the desk clerk, Hashi, above and beyond professional, pleasant interaction with me, we will not be returning.

Four day stay

Family trip was taken and one of the reasons we chose this hotel was for the grab & go breakfast. This consisted of instant oatmeal and packaged muffins the first day as well as coffee. The rest of our trip it was muffins. If they ran out before breakfast time was over that was it and the same with the coffee. There was at least one resident German roach in the bathroom that we saw several times. The kitchen has nothing in it when you arrive. Not even a coffee pot. If you want anything you ask for a kit at the front desk. Besides the roach the room was otherwise clean and everything else was great. Location was wonderful for anything you needed no matter what it was from food to Walmart or other necessities. It’s 10-15 minute drive to several fishing piers.

Trip home to see my grand kids

The room smelled like a wet dog and no matter if I changed the linens or not the bed also smelled like dog. The staff was very nice and attentive. Other wise want a bad start just the stench in the room was awful.

Very noisy, roaches, not well cleaned at all. I took my own supplies and cleaned. The carpet is disgusting and need to be taken up. The staff isn't helpful at all. The maintenance man was the only friendly person I saw.
