A hidden gem in Cortina. Just a little bit outside town centre (but walkable and there is also a ski bus). Comfortable, clean rooms, beautiful alpine finish, modern bathroom fittings. Great bar & restaurant. The food was top class. Nice wine selection, very good local wines to sample. Staff very helpful & friendly, gave us early breakfast the morning we were leaving. We loved this place & we hope to be back!

The room was nice, the bathroom was great, and the staff were very courteous and helpful. There is a nice bar and restaurant on site so that was convenient. Be advised that this hotel is right next to the road so it could get loud. Let me qualify that I stayed during the Olympics so maybe it was busier than usual then. They also kept the lights on outside my 2nd floor window until late at night so if you're on that floor, bring a sleeping mask and some earplugs.

The staff was extremely kind, friendly and helpful. We felt right at home. The breakfast was great and we ate dinner on 2 nights (we were only going to eat one evening but the beet ravioli and venison pasta was so good we ate a second night) because the food was so wonderful. The room was spacious, very clean and the location was perfect (20 minute walk to downtown) but so nice and quiet. We had a beautiful room facing the gardone with a balcony. We have no complaints and would highly recommend the hotel for those who wish to be close to Cortina but out of the noise and people.

Dolomite Gem

Coming to Cortuna feels like you are being transported to another era. The entire town looks like a storybook. We took the bus here from Venice and due to the Olympics, there is only one bus stop which was just a ten minute walk from our hotel. Our hotel was done in the Bsvarian style and had a restaurant, bar, sauna, and green space are. It is four stories and is a beautiful mix of elegance and craftsmanship.

Bathrooms clean too although very dated and curtains didn’t close properly in bedroom. Our room was clean and staff was friendly. However our room is very small (we booked an economy room) that can barely fit two people and two suitcases. The room was facing street so it was loud at night. The sound insulation was not good between rooms - we could hear all conversations from our neighboring guests. Overall it’s an okay experience - I do not think it justify the 250 euros a night though.
