Make sure you don’t stay in room 131! It is next to the laundry. Every couple of minutes a load sound that sounds like a leopard screaming happens followed by the sound of water then you hear the water cut off abruptly. If you’re a light sleeper you will not be able to sleep in this room. I don’t know how they allow that room to be used!! It’s obvious no one from the hotel has ever stayed in that room otherwise they would not allow it to be used by the public. Unbelievably unsatisfied with my stay, I think I slept for maybe an hour because of this

My boyfriend and I stayed one night in this hotel and when we got back at the end of the day and crawled into the bed, the mattress was soaking wet and smelled of urine. We immediately went down to the front desk and they gave us another room to move to however they didn’t offer any form of compensation for our terrible experience. Very disappointed in Marriott after this stay!

Rundown place

The hotel is old. Carpet in rooms and hallway is very dirty and worn out. The rooms are not clean. Saw cockroaches in room. Would not recommend. Parking is a mess.

Great location, for a week at DallasMarketCenter.

Great Location, Convenient Transportation, and Kind Staff I stayed at this hotel recently during a business trip to Dallas and had a great experience overall. The location is excellent—perfect if you’re attending events at the Anatole Hotel or shopping at the nearby Dallas Market Center. One of the biggest perks was the hotel’s complimentary transportation, which runs about every 15 minutes to the market. I didn’t have a car, but I had no trouble getting where I needed to go. There’s a Starbucks right in the hotel for a quick coffee fix, and if you walk across the street, there are several restaurants and full size Starbucks inside the Anatole Hotel and Conference Center. I especially enjoyed the ribs at Willie’s down the street—really great barbecue. There’s also a Denny’s nearby for a more casual bite. DoorDash and Grub-hub provide a wide selection of meals from nearby restaurants. The hotel staff were friendly and very accommodating, which made the stay even better. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable I’ve ever had, but I still managed to get good rest. It was quiet at night—I didn’t hear any noise from neighboring rooms or the hallway, which is always a bonus in a hotel stay. I would definitely stay here again for another business trip or even a quick getaway in Dallas.
