We had a great stay here. Loved that there was self parking on site (for a fee) and we were within walking distance to and from AAC. We felt safe walking after our event and many others were walking so it wasn’t isolated. Our room was clean and staff were friendly. Breakfast was about what you would expect but there was an attendant who kept things full and assisted when needed. This will be our go to place to stay for future events at AAC.

The female, who checked us in, and out the next day,, had no expression on her face and never said hello or welcome. Once I told her my name, the only thing she said to me is the elevator Is that way. She acted like she absolutely hated her job. Other than that, it was a nice facility and we enjoyed our stay.

Let me say, I have yet to reach out to this hotel but plan to. The ONLY reason we stayed here is because of the proximity to the AAC to see both a Dallas Stars and Dallas Mavericks games on back of back nights. So ANYONE wanting to stay for AAC events, this review is for you. I’ll start with the parking. I’m not sure if it’s policy, but we paid in full on Expedia and were charged an extra $X (Expedia won’t allow me to list the price in my review) to just park for two nights! What am I going to NOT park on premise and stay at the hotel? I either for ripped off that amount, or it’s stupid those fees aren’t rolled in with the Expedia purchase. The building next to this hotel needs to be bulldozed down. It’s absurdly loud and looks like abandoned trash. There is absolutely no security inside this hotel. No cameras on anything except the lobby and outside gate parking exits. This needs to be upgraded badly. Now to the unacceptable part. I can deal with everything above, just convenience and a little frustrating. However, there were bugs! We left an unopened banana on the counter overnight and woke to find either small roaches or sugar ants ALL over it! I’ve got a video and pictures but can’t leave it on this review or I would! At the bare minimum, hotels shouldn’t have BUGS! Is it even lawful? I actually thought about reaching out to my bank to file a chargeback! We would never stay here again! This review may prompt me to still file a chargeback!
