Overall Assessment: Needs Improvement We stayed at Novotel for five nights, and unfortunately several aspects of the room setup significantly affected my comfort and ability to work. 1. Lighting The room lighting was far too dim for any business work, including reading or working on documents. I requested a table lamp from the concierge and the check-in desk three times over a four-hour period. Despite this, the final visit to my room was only to ask what the problem was, which had already been clearly explained earlier. 2. Electrical Sockets and Iron The power plugs for the iron were located in a very small corner of the room, making access difficult. Additionally, one of the iron plugs did not fit any of the sockets in the room. I had to request a replacement iron with the correct plug suitable for a standard socket. 3. Work Desk The desk provided was extremely narrow and not suitable for working with a laptop and documents at the same time. This made it uncomfortable and impractical for business use. Conclusion While the stay was manageable, from a business traveler’s perspective the room facilities and service response need improvement.

This is a nice hotel and up to the Novotel standard. It is well placed for the airport. However, given that its guests are most likely to be going to or from the airport it is surprising there is no shuttle ( despite expedia stating there is a 24 hour service) and also if you request a taxi from reception it is about 4x more expensive than a prepaid taxi or an uber. Shame because this creates a bad feeling about the property which would make me reconsider my choice for my next stay

The staff is very friendly and helpful; however, the hallways and rooms reek of piss or smoke. The odor is so strong that you get a headache after a hour. This hotel is being renovated so the pool is closed and you can hear construction during the day on the exterior. Also the prices for food and drinks are much much higher than at the surrounding hotels and restaurants. If you have the option, look to book elsewhere.

Staff are helpful. Food is nice. The rooms need thorough clean up especially vacuuming, dusting and the bathroom tiles need more cleaning. The water in the shower was not draining properly;room(509). Please get it checked. The bed was very comfortable
