Very disappointed

We came to Michigan to buy two puppies. When we arrived at the hotel 8/12/25 in the evening, I asked at the desk about giving a pet deposit for the night. That is when I was told that SpringHill suites are not pet friendly and the puppies could not stay the night. We went to our room and gathered our belongings and checked out of the hotel. This is our second horrible experience with SpringHill Suites in 2 months. We do not expect to book with SpringHill Suites again.

We loved the down to earth atmosphere. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed chatting with Cheryl, the breakfast host. She did an amazing job stocking up on the breakfast items and she gave us ideas of things to do in Detroit. The place was quiet and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. We highly recommended staying here.

The pool is tiny. Kids were going wild with no supervision. The room was nice and spacious though. The only thing I noticed was dusting needs done in quite a few places.
