Great location but a tired hotel

Great location amazing breakfast and dinner but condition of a property wasnt great. Mould in bathroom and dirty walls.

Good location, tired room.

Lovely location, friendly staff, room was very tired and beach view was obscured by trees. Breakfast buffet plentiful, good range of choice, food could have been hotter. If you want location on beach but not fussed about room this will suit you. There are no lifts so if you have mobility issues this is not for you. Beach sunbeds and umbrellas are charged daily first come first served, beach towels are provided free. Lunch time food can be purchased at prices similar to other establishments and an evening buffet are available for a charge. Other nearby hotels in the group have facilities such as massage/spa treatments. Overall rating 2-3 stars.

No lift! We weren’t expecting the amount of stairs and a hotel without a lift - the kind man on reception did carry my case for me. The room was a good size and cleaned daily at our request. Maybe a small fridge and a kettle?

A stay in front of the beach

The hotel is in a prime location, with a beautiful beach in front. Bus transportation to the old town is quite easy, with a bus stop right outside the hotel. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is good. It was a good experience.

The Vis Hotel is in a great position with beautiful sunset views. Although a little dated it was a good ten days spent there. Where this hotel really scores is the staff.They are friendly helpful and professional.

Hotel Vis is comfortable and clean. It is in a great location. The daily breakfast offering is excellent and it is easy to access public transport from there. The adjacent promenade along the coast offers stunning views and a variety of restaurants. Its a great option.

The hotel is tired and in need of updating, the reception staff are wonderful, helpful and friendly. The barman in the evening was rude, bad tempered and made everyone in our group feel that we were an inconvenience. Breakfast was very good a massive selection and all very fresh. Loved the area but wouldn’t return to this hotel.

Staff very welcoming & knowledgeable. Beach area lovely well cared for. Large stone instead of sand. Take water shoes. Complimentary breakfast wonderful from cold to hot food. Enjoyed eating on the outdoor patio. Room a little tired but only there 2 nights. If your lucky you will get a room facing beach. Be prepared to carry your luggage down numerous stairs to main lobby & up some stairs to your room. We enjoyed our stay.

Hotel Vis is set in a beautiful location but it definitely needs an update. It looks tired. The carpeting, furniture, paint, bathrooms all need to be freshened up and modernized. The breakfast and lunches were good but the dinner buffet could be improved with the quality of food and options. Access to the Hotel Uvala Spa was wonderful! They definitely have very nice facilities! The staff was friendly and helpful!
