Wonderful place. I travel all over Ireland and have stayed in hundreds of hotels. This is an absolute gem. Awesome spa with sauna and plunge pool. The breakfast was brilliant

Brilliant!!

I cannot compliment this hotel enough!! I did not want to leave!! The room was clean and comfortable. The grounds were amazing. There was a 5000 year old stone tomb on the property down a path. Great breakfast. Everything you need on site and gorgeous!!

Staff make or break a venue, Ballymascanlon’s staff are fabulous. Huge comfortable rooms are welcoming and I wouldn’t hesitate on recommending this hotel or returning to it.

Great Hotel

Had a very enjoyable stay. First time in the hotel and very impressed. Nice mix of old world and modern. Clean, comfy, tasty food but in particular what stood out was the staff. Very friendly, approachable and helpful. Will definitely book another stay.

Average enough; rooms not spectacular; service - a little slow especially when trying to leave. Plenty parking but some spaces short and not very wide. Very noisy early morning (before 8am) with truck collections and deliveries. Two good things - grounds are nice and even though parts of interior are a little tired, the lighting in the room is pretty good compared to a lot of hotels!

Lovely property and setting. Food very good as were the staff. When we arrived there was a golf competition taking place so parking was very limited but other than that we had a very enjoyable stay. Would recommend this hotel.
