The rooms were very deceiving from the photos posted on the website; Small. Dirty. Strong cigarette odor. Loud fan outside of the room in hallway AND one under our window. Tub was very small. One roll of toilet paper. The hallway was dirty and also had bad odors, garbages through out the building were over flowing. There were 5! Full bags of garbage sitting in the entry way to the "breakfast" room. The "breakfast" room was dirty, messy. Dirty plates covered the counter tops, garbage overflowing, what coffee was left was cold. The creamers were out dated. No fruit available nor yogurt. Milk for cereal was warm. .HORRIBLE experience. Will NOT be returning and will be forwarding my experience to others as a warning.

I'll start by saying that we had a very early start to our day and we just wanted to climb into bed and fall asleep. Our room was on the second floor, at the very end of the hallway. Oh, but the elevator is broken down. Normally, not a big thing, but just tired and want to climb in bed. The bed was very soft, which was actually worn out. Had to move the bed to have access for a plugin. There were parts of the bed frame laying on the floor underneath there and a complete layer of dust and lint. Too tired to say anything that night. The next morning. Bathtub - Rust and lint on the top ledge. Shower head barely had water coming thru. Still tape on the top of the bathroom mirror from painting, who knows how long ago. The sink countertop looked to be ready to fall apart. The floor was scratched up like someone had taken a ice skate to it in one area. Go down for the free breakfast, and front counter directs us to go down the hallway and then to the left. Enter the restaurant and I say to the hostess, we are here for the free breakfast. She seats us and shows us the menu and says this is your options. So we order, food comes with deep fried bacon (who does that?). She checks that we are done, and says that she will be right back. She brings a bill. Turns out that this is a paying restaurant. Where you turn in on the hallway, their big display with their choices of the day, is actually covering the sign on the wall that states "Free Breakfast -->" (Turn right instead)

We were approached by several drug induced people asking for money and cigarettes upon entering the building. They were hanging around inside and outside. The entrance was littered with cigarettes. The room was fine. Run down but it was fine. It was just gross having to take the elevator to our room with people spitting in the elevator. Won’t use this hotel again. Hotel advertised with a Smitty’s. But no longer a Smitty’s. Breakfast was weak

Room AC was not working and hotel maintenance could not fix it. We spent the night in 27 degrees which was unpleasant. Ended up shortening the stay to only one night but charges came through on the credit card for an amount higher than quoted for three nights. Management is unresponsive to my messages and I’m still trying to get the charges corrected which should include a $470 refund.

The front end staff were incredible, knowledgeable and made us feel welcome.To the resturant staff, thank you so much for your hospitality. The food was good, tomatoe soup was the best I've had in years. Try the butter chicken, you won't be disappointed.

A/C in room just blew out warm air. Informed front desk and nothing was done. Bathroom sink was rusted out and paint was peeling, and door stops broken. Hotel door hinges were loose and door rattled all night. Hotel provided only 2 bath towels for 3 people. Received additional one and the next day room service removed the additional towel again.

The hotel was not as advertised. We booked for 3 people but only got towels for 2. The elevator was broken, and we had to carry our luggage to the 4th floor with no help. Breakfast was advertised as hot and cold, but we only got continental vouchers, and the breakfast area was too small to even sit. The on-site restaurant shown in the listing was not the same one at the hotel. We won’t be staying here again.

Just Okay

Okay for the price. Stayed for 3 days, housekeeping never showed up one day. Pizza box garbage on the floor wasn’t picked up. Couldn’t get extra coffee pods from the hotel counter, was told I had to find housekeeping to ask them. There were cigarette burns on the bathroom sink counter. One elevator wasn’t working and had to go down 4 floors to the opposite side of the building to get ice.

Terrible stay it was! Big fighting in the middle of night next door. Staffs need proper training. Housekeeper forgot to put towels in the room. Maintenance man left over his drill in the room. Front desk clerks were so rude .

Comfortable and clean

The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and checked us in quickly. The room was very comfortable, the furniture was pretty badly stained and ripped apart but the room was clean.

Not worth it

I booked this hotel for the waterslide and pool. The day before my booking i get an email that the water slide is closed for service. Ok fine the pool is still open. I get to the hotel to check in and the elevators are down for maintenance. Great! I get to my room for the night and try to lock tge dead bolt and it didnt line up in the door and would not lock. This was not a good stay. I would not stay here again. The staff was friendly and offered a 10% discount.

The bed was comfortable, the room was small but fine for what we needed but it could have been cleaned better and it was extremely hot in there. The air conditioner didn't work, just blew warm air and was extremely loud. The pillows were terrible and when we asked for more they said they would bring some up and no one came, went down and they wouldn't give us 1 more. The breakfast was basic, with cereal, bagels and fruit. The waterslide was down and won't be working for awhile, so if you're booking for their pool I would call first. I won't be staying here again.
